Thank you very much Ebott for playing my game. You are right on the creation process. My son and I were the main script writers and we were even laughing on the floor when thinking of some of the lines. It was very fun to make a very hated CEO where bad ideas thrive and he claims he tries. And basing the story around one real event and imagining what went behind the scenes to create that customer experience in the retail world was really fun to make. Thank you very much Ebott. It makes me smile to see another lover of "Don't Kill the CEO."

Hah hah hah. Thank you so much. I hope to take you up on your offer. Thank you for playing Don't Kill the CEO as well. I'll work hard on my current game.

Thanks to you, I finally took the time to make a walkthrough.

I have my Youtube Channel (which I hardly upload but use often)
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCk2KaQ3mZCCOFHrWV4KitxA

I also have my RPG Maker profile. (currently down, and I will post when the website is up)

I'm working on another game with a friend which will take me a while to complete. I'll make sure to post on itch as well as RPG Maker. I hope you will enjoy that game too. If you want to try one more good game of mine, you can play "Don't Kill the CEO."

Thank you so much for beating Demon Castle. It inspires me to keep making games and eventually return to my big project.

Hello marscpg:

I made a 4 part video walkthrough of Demon Castle. This is for you.

Thank you for your patience in the fight.

You are absolutely right. I will create a walkthrough tonight and post on my page and reply with the walkthrough link.

Hello Marscpg:

Thank you for getting to the near end of my game. Thank you  also for the kind words on my puzzle game as I really appreciate seeing all comments that come to any game of mine.

The archbishop I'll admit is tricky. In order to attack properly, you must be 2 spaces away (or 1 empty space between you an the enemy) to register a hit with the space/action button. If you press the action button when you are RIGHT NEXT to the enemy, he will hit you. The archbishop is also very fast and each heart needs 2 hits to reduce his health. He will also insta-kill you if the archbishop corners you to the wall. All hope is not lost.

To defeat the archbishop, you must keep on circling him so that you can steal a hit when you are 2 spaces away from him. Also notice that he moves slowly in the beginning of the battle. Use that opportunity to hit him about 4 to 6 times at the start of the battle. Then be prepared to circle him, keep your distance, steal hits, have fun in mid-battle, then finish him off. His slowness at the end of the mid-battle (his overconfidence) will finish him off.

Let me know if you are successful or need more help. I could make a video if you need video walkthrough on beating him. (remember the 2 space rule for any future battles.) Again, thank you for playing my game as it puts a smile on my face and encourages me to keep making games.

I really appreciate hearing that from you. The third battle in the game will have teeth but the battle gets cool at the halfway mark, then easy.

No worries. When you return to the game, just aim true and spam the space bar.

Here is a small trick. You can use the crosshair to block the harpy's path- especially when she is in a corner. That will limit her movement a bit and you can spam a few extra hits out of her.

Thank you for playing my game. If you have the bow, make sure to keep spamming the space bar. The crosshair will show you where you shot your arrow.

Ha ha ha. That is a funny game. The set of hands cracked me up. I will never have that tea.

Thank you astrangefool. I appreciate you for playing the game.

Thank you for playing. I'll do some cleanup, and then I'll submit an update after the jam period.

Maybe I can help you. Where did you get stuck?

You are right...it's done. All of my works have the RPG Maker tag.

Thank you hiddenone. I gotta figure out the way to close the gap with the battle mechanics to have proper action moments.

I'll keep working on the puzzles. I have some more ideas that can change the game. Thank you for playing my game. Crop Circles was really fun. That game has the right ingredients to really be a bigger game.

Thank you A. V. Dossow for playing my game. I'll need to find a way to close the gap with the hit and receiving end of the combat system. On the back end, the hit box is specific to the event, and touching the event results in the player getting hit. The "sword" is summoned to attempt a hit (to match coordinates with the enemy location) when you press the action button and it touches the enemy from 2 spaces away. I have some ideas for closing this space gap so it feels like a real action game especially in those quick moments.

I am taking the time now to make the puzzles more intuitive (actually I'm giving the items a few more uses to encourage playing with the items..) Admittedly, some of my best ideas came to me at the last minute. I am taking the time to make the puzzles to be more intuitive- that has been the word I have been thinking about as I make improvements.

I figured out your battle system for Toiletisia vs Evil quicky. You stand still and shoot the bullet- works fine to me. You are also immune from standard enemy damage if you keep on shooting.  If you increase the speed and range of the bullet (at least to be at the near edge of the screen,) you'll really be in business.

Thank you very much Dorkfishie. This game was my take on a Shadowgate inspired game with a game mechanic heavy focus.

It means a lot to me that you have played my games. It encourages me to keep making games.

The stream is posted: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1954549761

Yes it does. First, use the warp wing in the library of knowledge. If you touch the mirror there, the warp wing will activate.

Hah hah. You will really enjoy Demon Castle.

Aww. Thank you so much. I'll make sure to finish Alkon the Time Manipulator.

Thank you much for playing my game. People care more about "Don't Kill the CEO," and Alkon was OK. I still liked my time mechanics. You reminded me that I still liked making this game.

I will take the time to finish it this year, so it gets a proper boss and ending.

You get the entry coin from bus station number 1. When you are in the bus, use time reverse to get to station 1. Then a man will give you the entry coin.

Did you get in the bus and use time reverse to station 1? That will move the plot along. Then you use time accelerate to speed the line to the bar.

Dangit...The Jones's house should be unlocked after you sneak into the bar in the west.

(Thank you for catching these mistakes. I will make these fixes and hopefully finish this game very soon.)

Unholy water can be found later in the game's progression. There is an unholy fountain found later in the game.

House of the Jones.

Thank you for playing the game. To confirm the limo ride, you will also need the tuxedo in the west shop, and the medallion from the retired mafia member in the northern slums.

Also, thank you for spotting the softlock. I will fix this. After finishing my other game (Demon Castle), I should take the time to finish this game.  It's almost finished too.

Thank you for hosting Horror Jam 2023. I made a this month that I think suits the theme. I will submit the browser version of Demon Castle on this jam.

Same. It's in the lava level. You should also make a noise when you grab an item.

I beat the game. I liked the shitty humor.

Wow. That game was really cool for Hawktober. I got the bad ending. Hopefully we will see the good ending for the stream.

Thank you for this gift. I will use it wisely.

Congratulations on another game entry. It's cool you are dipping your hands on a puzzle game. Keep making games. I downloaded and beat your game.

Thank you Tigry2000a for playing Don't Kill the CEO. I'm so glad you liked the game.

I'm  looking, and I'll have to find the right plugin. Thank you for this site. I would love an easy access spell use where you can just press the spell in just one menu interface.

Hah hah hah.  I did the third bus stop to signal to the player that you can move forward to a bus station,  but you need to move backwards to station 1.

I'm working on more side goodies so you are rewarded with seeing the different outcomes using your time magic.

I am really flattered that you enjoyed the mechanics. My plan is to finish the main content to then add lots of time side interactives. If I can get my hands on a good UI for just use of time magic, it would really speed up the game.  Again, thank you so much for your support.

Hey VeroClaw. If you tell me/show me a picture of the roof stuck, I'll fix it.

Thank you for the words of support. I really appreciate it. I'm still working on adding missing things, and upgrading it, and will have it an update by the end of the month.

Hello Rema. Thank you so much for getting so far in my game. My game in its current jam submission has a bug unfortunately.   If you play the HTML version, I fixed the bug. My game is not complete yet, but by the end of the month, it will be.

Edit: Thank you so much for the follow.
