Hey, Cresthia! Had fun with Level 1; it's an interesting metroidvania time platformer.

The spikes had broken hitboxes though; they are too big. Bit of a chore to get past them.

The moving platforms had no sense of inertia either. Had to keep moving to keep up with them even while stood on them.

Congratulations on the art, btw! Very well done. Enjoyed the music too.

Hey, yeah, I initially wanted to have a system where there were more than one match but with a decreased score increment if it wasn't the most perfect match.  I ran out of time to implement it.

Your assessment is correct :')

Best runner game submitted for this jam! Congrats, mate.

Good job on the animations! Had fun with your game :)

Loved the visual aesthetics, mate; top scores for that! Enjoyed the voice acting as well.

The artstyle is splendid and very lively! Unique take on the theme as well :)

Fun take on the theme! Congrats on the visuals and audio — they were both splendid.

Hey, i thought this was a fairly unique way of interpreting the theme, so all good. Splendid job on the models and audio; appreciate your hardwork, really.

Looking forward to seeing you in more game jams :)

Ah, okay :(

Always enjoy a good puzzle game! Theme was well incorporated and it was fairly original as well. Congrats!

You built a city builder for the jam dude!? mad impressive and ambitious.

Knew I had to check this out I was on Manisha's stream. Really good job implementing the card mechanic over a week! It's something i never quite managed to do, so I am quite envious haha!

Like others said, the word dump at the beginning was intimidating for me as well but I also do not know how else you would systematically teach a player everything — especially for a jam game, there's not much time to implement all of that.

Top points for art, theme, and originality!

I appreciated the lo-fi vibes! That said, a goal and risk-reward mechanic would have put me in a good flow-state.

Awesome game; I was on my toes with the monster!

Very well could be top 5 most polished games in this jam! Kudos to you on the voice acting and the design.

Giving top grades for most things here lol

Tutorial would have been nice but I quite enjoyed myself; very rewarding to problem solve! You did a smart job with the graphics: they were beyond aesthetic and got the job done.

Goddamn, this game deserves more impression and views. I loved the challenge, personally.

Try making a web version next time, so it's more accessible to people. Very unique entry for this jam; wish more people could have tried it out.

Super unique interpretation of the theme and loved the artwork. I had the issue where the reference was cut off on the right as well.

But overall, splendid work. I'm giving top points for theme and art!!

Was able to get into a smoothhh flow state cause of balanced difficulty; wasn't the case with a lot of other entries for this jam! Great work, friend.

Yo, the graphics on  freeze time awesome. Enemies could have used a healthbar but they're not the most important bit so.

Top points for art and theme, man!

yeap, will always add tutorials next time i game jam :)

How fascinating — never read the Scythe series! Thank you for playing the game :)

Thanks, man!

thank you for acknowledging the humour, haha!

Glad you could make death warm :')

Thank you!

Thanks for playing and for the valuable feedback!

I love the kick on the gun! Graphics and animation were all awesome. Game was a little too hard; would have been better if difficulty ramped up slowly.

Could do with a score counter as well.

Reminded me of days i used to spend with my dad at the arcade when i was younger. Thanks for that, g.

Fairly brain-busting, mate! You could have shown the trajectory of the ball better though.
But great job on your submission, overall!

Awesome stuff! The yetis genuinely scared me lol with their menacing approach. The over the shoulder RESE4 type shooting mechanic was awesome as well :)

Hi, I love the way the ship controls! No worries about sfx; this is goooddd. I was a big fan of the sky actually and the shadow effects.

Amazing for a jam entry! The collision didn't hinder the momentum or speed, so I had no incentive to drive slow; you should punish the player better for diving recklessly.

but loved the art, the sound, and the gameplay! Congrats!

It was very rewarding when i finally cracked how the freeze mechanic worked. Not sure how, but you could have guided the player better in that regard.

Still, top marks for theme and originality!

Very smart puzzle game. Splendid job on the freezing animations and just graphics in general. Kudos on the song as well.

As others have mentioned, you should have sectioned off each puzzle as a level, so that you wouldn't need to start again from get-go when you've made a mistake.

Fun game and kept me on my toes! Hit detection was off though. Overall, good job!

One of my fav games in this jam! It is very expertly crafted. If I may, you should have focused less on platforming as the visuals had already made it a little difficult to see things. The monster evasion should have been the priority.

Also the first dialogue was a slog to sit through.
Anyways, I'm giving it top points for originality and art, for sure!

Try commenting on other games, mate! It will help you get reach; the game seriously deserves more views.
