If you hit space the game auto wins. I'm guessing this was a debug thing. I really like the cute art style and fun gimmick's this game has like warp zones and fans. This game feels well put together and polished. I do get a little annoyed when I barely launch the bunny and it moves really slow but I think its a good mechanic to punish player error. I especially like how the fans can send you back to the beginning if your not carful but it did make me rage quit after awhile. this game was really fun and I enjoyed it good job.
The first problem with a foddy game that goes down instead of up is how does the player lose progress and go back up. I really like the way you dealt with this problem by having the player get damaged and knocked back by the ships. The visuals of this game look great and remind me of Gundam. you did a Really good job on this game.
the problem with this game lies in the gameplay. I would recommend letting the player shoot when they want with a cooldown instead of having it file in random intervals. I added an element of RNG in my game and now regret it because it takes to much control away from the player. This game has a fun idea And fits the theme very well, and your over all the art is good and the sound is good . nice job
Thanks for the feedback. if you made it that far then no there is no controls you missed unfortunately. I really should have made a tutorial to explain things better. Ill go ahead and make a walkthrough. thanks for letting me know where you got stuck. It is possible and intended to fly upwards after a swing if you release the hook at the right time. In that particular section you have to release the hook to get a little higher hook on from a higher point and repeat until you get on top of the middle bricks. Sorry about the confusion.
Update: I have decided to make a walkthrough for version 2.0 of the game and if I can figure out how to add a tutorial I will.
Hey man thanks for the question. When first making this game I was struggling to find a way to punish the player for missing, so I figured by adding a RNG element to the game, it would be the icing on the cake the game needed. That was the intension at least, But with hindsight I'm realizing there were better ways to make the game harder without taking control away from the player. This was my first game and your games have helped me learn a lot so thanks, I hope to continue to learn new things about game development.
I love this. with a game as simple as this the player gets upset they cant do such a simple task. this game fills like a rhythm game but I cant tell if that's what you were going for or its just a happy accident. if that is what you were going for music would have helped this game alot. but the game is fine as is good job.
All I can really say about this game is that it lacks polish I know its hard with game jams to add a lot of polish but even the smallest amount helps. also I found a bug where if the ball gets to close to a wall you get stuck in the wall and soft lock. the idea for this game is solid and I think the practice option is a neat idea.
First off your thumbnail does not do a goodjob of showing what your game is. I didn't even see one dinosaur when playing. But this was a nice take on qwop especially with the arm movement following the mouse. not sure how well the game fits the theme because there's not a whole lot of progress that can be lossed. One thing can be said for sure this game is rage inducing.
