I think you mean Squid King.... 4 hrs on a squid. less than 1 hr on everything else. Beautiful artwork, audio, level design. Very challenging. You know what bugs you have to fix!!!! Let's see them fixed and let's get this game on Steam already!! gg

The scope and quality of the game is really impressive for a Game Jam. I had a lot of fun playing it.

Pretty impressive scope for a jam entry.  Nice vibes with the music.  I felt it was a bit too punishing, though, as you could often land on platforms that needed multiple air jumps after getting knocked down, and your only option would be to drop further down to get to a platform you can get energy from.  Also, sometimes you'd get knocked to the left which would send you all the way back to the beginning with nothing in between to catch you, which seemed excessively punishing.

I felt, more often, that I was fighting the game than fighting myself (as tends to be more in the Foddian spirit).

Absolutely insane scope and great execution. Got my ass handed to me by the baboon so I couldn't really make it that far, but a really amazing entry, all in all!

I struggled with this one I'm not going to lie. The boss fight was super cool and I almost punched my monitor whenever he would punch me. Great job man!

This is fun but insanely hard to play. Boss fights in fodian????! Really dope. However, I do have a critique... I don't know how many jumps I have after I use the power-up. Maybe the color could change for the light to indicate how many jumps you got? Also, the octopus boss is really hard. Make it less RNG. 

Besides that...

I'm trying to multitask the Keeper of the Caves while trying to figure out where to jump, which burns me out pretty easily. Malding quite a lot, which is intended by default! Good job on that front.

The art. Wow. It's so good. Everything from the game design is stellar. It's insane to think this was made in ten days. 

Crazy good job! Loving the difficulty so far. I'll try to beat it as a casual.

This game was super amazing! The fact that it was completed in 10 days is unreal. Amazing 8 bit art and graphic designs with great music and clean audio. The gameplay was smooth and I like the feel of the movement. The boss mechanics were an interesting concept but I feel as though the Squid is a bit unfair. The genre of Foddian style games are very difficult and frustrating yes but when playing the big 3 (Jump King, Pogostuck, and GOI) you always feel as though your lack of progress is because of your lack of skill and understanding of the mechanics. I feel like the first and last bosses are fair and great design (apart from a visual glitch where the hitbox of the frog tongue persisted past the visual i saw on my screen) however the squid boss has too many disadvantages for the player and I felt like despite fully understanding the mechanics and level design, I was left feeling helpless and that I had to either wait for cycles (which is generally not good for Foddian games especially ones that are speedran) or i had to W key my way thru the bullets and hope for good RNG of the first bullets the squid fired. Other than a few design flaws and unfairness though I genuinely think this will be one of the top submissions in the competition so good job. You made an amazing game and I think I might be a little harsh but thats my honest take from a man who plays Foddian games all the time.

The squid was a challenge to design overall, fitting a bullet hell type boss into a foddian like game was hard, I want to rework the mechanics of the squid to be speedrun friendly and won't force you to wait for cycles! thank you for the amazing comment I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
