It works for me though... Damn, maybe next jam I'll submit a working game.

The game doesn't work on Linux unfortunately.

Very similar to Scale2Win (another game in the jam). I played it and I think Scale2Win has a cleaner implementation of the idea. The game was pretty frustrating sometimes.

I use an older version of firefox and it works for me. Firefox never fails to be unusable! :) I mean with the newer updates they push out.

Edit 2: I want to remind you and everyone else experiencing this issue that there are downloads btw, if you have enough time to download the game.

I use firefox and the issue doesn't happen with me, I don't really know what's up with it. Also the messages guide you towards a secret alternate path to the game, but I don't know if I made it too cryptic. Since no one seems to be able to find it I'll spell it out. The secret is in the 6th level and you must do a certain action 6 times in a certain part of the level.

The brief period where the pakistan flag took over the gay flag was pretty interesting.  I have screenshots from back then. Also, even though this is fun, it's not a game and should be disqualified from the jam.

The cheat could just be eliminated by having a smaller reach to the boxes btw. You have to time it decently well.

Really nice, but I wish it was longer. I think you could absolutely make this into a full game.

high effort work

Best (maybe besides BIGBOMB) and worst game in this jam. Definitely rage inducing.

Very unfair and not really polished. Why do I still get hit when I dash? There's lots of bullets, but my hitbox is really large so I get hit by all of them. Make it so that you can't take damage while dashing. Destroying the planets in the levels is not required, you can just go past them to the end of the level. Also, the game didn't take place in space.

Cool art and idea but too many glitches. My game ended with the game crashing. It felt unfair when I hit the sun but didn't get a point.

Super interesting idea. I say refine the controls of the player (he's too slow when pushing boxes and the jump height is weird), refine the programming (at some point a box went into the tiles of the level) and it would be more enjoyable to play.

The game was fun, because there is a way to solve almost every level in an unintended way. I mostly jumped, clicked the box below me, moved it somewhere else then landed on it, and repeat. Again, it was fun tho. Also, dying sometimes doesn't reset the entire level. And, the keys were mostly useless in all of the levels because you got them right towards the end. In the one level where you had to go get the key and then go back to the door, you could just get the key, die, then respawn at the door without having to do the platforming. The fact that you have the key doesn't reset when you die, I think that's a programming error.

The game doesn't work for me.

Nice art and idea, however... when I was interviewing the widowed bug the dialogue got all glitched out. I could ask her about acting even though those were questions for the caterpillar before her. The dialogue glitched out entirely and the show ended while the dialogue was still going.

Isn't this VPN simulator? If this is it but rebranded then the rebranding was a good idea. Nice job.

It's an ok first game. Never lose your creativity.

Thank you very much. The puzzles are a bit meh in my opinion, because this is my very first puzzle game.

Did you find the hidden ending? Remember, Saturn is the key.

Alright I get it, so I was playing wrong. Thanks.

Interesting, and I captured another screenshot where it doesn't work:

I couldn't get a good screenshot but this is what I mean

Two fours connected to each other but not setting off

The movement of the cubes feels horrible. They can go through walls and stuff. Also you can't move them forward and backward, which would help.

nice idea. turn it into a full game. Feedback: the controls are weird and needed to fully be inside the teleporter is tedious.

by the way, there's an alternative ending to the game and I can't believe I have to point this out.

E to go through the door xD

try to do it slowly. Just move the platform slowly, that's how it works the best.

Pay attention to the signs btw. You're supposed to use the platform's momentum to accelerate yourself.

I saw this was made in godot mono, I love C#. Maybe I'm playing wrong but I found the game to be relaxed and not very chaotic because you have to match things together. maybe i'm also playing wrong but I found that matching 2 2's, 3 3's, etc. doesn't actually make them explode. I would have 2 dices of the same number together but they don't go off. Also, this game would've been a great submission for the 2022 jam's theme.

glad to hear that.

Thanks for playing

Yes, you're supposed to jump over it.

Creativity is there, but it's not well programmed. The spoon doesn't hit enemies when they get too close to you. Also, there's no feedback for doing anything at all, not even killing enemies. For 48 hours, it's not bad.

Edit: if you get far enough and have a long enough spoon you can just shake the spoon in the direction of the safe and everything dies

Congrats, never actually got to play this game though cause there was no linux build :)

Thanks for the feedback, I never heard the merchant part before, I will make sure to add indicators to where the merchants are across the map if that's what you mean :)

Yup! Loved the cryptic story, also I believe unity should let you customize the colliders per tile somehow like godot does because it's a basic feature a tilemap should have. The quality of life changes sound good, I don't think the grappling should be nerfed because it's a thing you continually get better at as the game goes on and it's feels rewarding to master it.

unironically one of the best games in this game jam (relative to what i've played so far)

The good things:

The attention to detail in the story is great, I love how you've linked the story to one of your other games. I also like how cryptic the story is, not intentionally, jeff and jefferonious speak to the main character like it's another regular day on the job, which is how they should behave.

Overall, the game doesn't feel like a game jam game.
The gameplay is fun, but I will have to admit, I couldn't find the secret level in 1-3, which I will get to now.

The bad things:

The difficulty is really off-balance. 1-2 was overall difficult, finding the secret level as well as finishing the level itself was really hard. But, the level right after that, 1-3 was much easier (I still couldn't find the secret level though if there even is)

The spikes were very unforgiving too, their hitboxes are larger than they actually are.

The music, though, does feel like it's from a game-jam game. Sometimes the main map music would play in the levels, also, there should be atleast 2 songs that alternate between the levels, the main song can get repetitive. Though I know making songs takes alot of time.

Overall:

the bad things are results of time limitations probably, but it's impressive you got it done in a week.

The story is really interesting and creative and love that you take players to an entirely new game to continue (or end) the story.

I will reiterate that it REALLY doesn't feel like a jam game.
