Wow, this was very flavorful - from ads to zip-enemies, everything was well connected between its gameplay function and presentation.

Difficulty was overwhelming for me at first, before I figured out how to cheese it :)

I'm just not exactly sure about one thing - how does it relate to the theme of the jam?

That's absolutely fair, I didn't manage to add a tutorial before deadline :(

In case you would be willing to give it another go, I described some basics on the game page, but in general it all comes down to ordering units around:
* at the start you left-click the initial unit to select it and right-click the building to send the unit into it. That will start spawning new units.
* then you build a wood cutter like you did, and send some units to that building to produce wood. That should get you started.
* if you select a building and then right-click somewhere, you'll send units out of that building.
* shift+right-click sends only half of the selected unit somewhere.

Anyway, thanks for checking it out!

I liked the visual style of the player character and enemies a lot!

Gameplay-wise, I got a bit lost at the first movable platforms - I think I didn't recognize a lever as something interactive. The shadow-scaling mechanic was a little fiddly, but made sense in the end. I got pulled into the game enough to finish the whole thing, I'd love to see the boss work :)

This was fun! I didn't get the cutting part at first (missed the controls), but it just lead to more absurd shapes :) I liked the physicality of it and the scores, prompting me to try again to achieve "perfect" in all categories. Nice job!

Production values and polish are on a very high level here. However, I had issues with understanding how to build things so they would work correctly and why I would want to build them. When following the tutorial, my resources got stuck on the conveyor belts and wouldn't reach the assemblers.

With a little more work on the initial experience, it could become quite a compelling game!

I like the twist on climbing using letters, that's a fun idea! There were some issues when the same letter appeared more than once on a level, but otherwise it worked nicely. Especially when playing one-handed :)
