I was having issues with the parallax background when you changed the resolution, so I just disabled resizing the window instead of figuring out why it was broken. If it weren't a jam game, I would have tried to work it out or implement a viewport to prevent different resolutions from screwing with the parallax, but a jam game is a jam game! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Holy crap this game is addicting!!! I was stubborn and didn't read the instructions at first and eventually figured out the interactions with the colors on the wheel! But that says more about my stubbornness and nothing about poor game design, so no worries! It's dangerously addictive and I love the gameplay loop!!! It was fun not only to think about which colors I had to get to touch, but also which colors I had to prevent from touching!! You absolutely killed it with this entry!
Really cool and fun concept! I would have liked to see some audio, but I totally get leaving that on the cutting floor. I loved the art, too! I may not have understood, but I got the bronze dwarf all the way down to the platform and nothing appeared to happen, so I'm not sure if it was bugged or I was just doing something wrong. I also found that if you just yeeting items up off the top of the screen, they'd disappear and become no longer your problem, not sure if that was intentional or not.
Everything about this game is GREAT!!! I have one minor gripe, when extra balls get shot out, I have no idea why this happens and so it's not rewarding and in fact can be a little frustrating at times when the extra ball knocks some surplus ingredients into the potion. I want to feel responsible for the decisions made in the game, and with that one, because I couldn't ever tell what caused it or how to control it, I felt like I was at the whim of RNG. That being said, I'm fully open to accepting it was obvious and I just didn't notice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Love the art, love the fun little story and the personality of his Eminence!
Ok, I'm obsessed. I'm prolly gonna return to this one after the jam, to play more :) The art is perfect, the sound engineering is on point. The only POSSIBLE complaint I could have is that it lagged my browser out when loading. But that's not really your fault at all, if this were a desktop game, I'm sure it'd run just fine. LOVED IT!
