I beated it I did! And few times! It is very satisfying when you get it and you start ordering the pieces neatly in order to save the dwarf statue and feed the troubling pieces to the beast. There is a bug you probably know of, that the piece disappear if dragged too far on the side or the top, but I beated the game without cheesing it!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Funnily enough, that's intended functionality to have the blocks disappear if dragged off, but I didn't get around to the VFX that would communicate that. It's an interesting thing to consider NOT involving that at all and force people to reorient the blocks instead of get rid of them. You've given me something to think about, thank you!

Great concept, would definitely like to see some more. I noticed you could throw the shapes off the screen and they would disappear. The platform didn't change in size in that case.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! Ya, if you drag them off then they don't get eaten, but I didn't have time to build the VFX that would really communicate that :\

Glad you enjoyed it!

THIS IS A FUN CONCEPT KIDS WILL LOVE IT WHEN THEY GET BACK. I HAD SOME CARTOON MOMENTS HAPPEN TO ME , WOULD MAKE A GREAT CELL PHONE GAME

Developer

Thanks so much! I was actually thinking of possibly adapting it into a mobile experience, kind of like a Cut the Rope style puzzle game...

I like the idea. Simple yet very fun game. The tutorial pictures are great! The Beast art is incredible!

Developer

Thanks so much, Tom! That was my first time trying in-level tutorials and I was happy with it. The Beast was a beholder from an asset pack that I removed the eye stalks on, although I loved the design and composition. WOuld definitely take lots of inspiration from that if/when I redid the visuals to be cohesive!

I see game physics, i press like.

Very unique concept, dont think ive seen this kind of implementation before, should be proud of this one!

Hey, thanks so much! It was a great little experiment and I learned a lot from it. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very fun idea. Art for the beast is on point. The floor detection was a little strange for me, had to smack my dwarf with a box to win. You did a great job!

Developer

Haha, thanks so much! Ya, the web export kind of messed with the win condition. I loved the design for the beast, that came from an asset pack I purchased ages ago off of Humble Bundle that I modified a bit (it used to be a beholder!). Would be fun to redo all the visuals in a cohesive style!

Really cool and fun concept! I would have liked to see some audio, but I totally get leaving that on the cutting floor. I loved the art, too! I may not have understood, but I got the bronze dwarf all the way down to the platform and nothing appeared to happen, so I'm not sure if it was bugged or I was just doing something wrong. I also found that if you just yeeting items up off the top of the screen, they'd disappear and become no longer your problem, not sure if that was intentional or not.

Thanks so much for the feedback and for checking it out! If you hold the block while you remove it, it is supposed to just disappear without feeding the beast. However, the VFX to communicate that (along with the audio), got left on the cutting room floor :(

Also, the win condition got kind of borked in the web export. There is a YOU WIN modal, but it takes forever to show up for some reason :\
