I would definitely be lying if I said I wasn't inspired by Starbound. My main goal for this game is for it to be it's own thing however, so while on the surface this game seems similar to Starbound, it actually varies greatly from the game (that's the hope anyways). I am hard at work with the newest update, Title update 5, so I have no plans of abandoning the development of this game. Thanks for the comment!

Hello and thanks for the feedback!

As for the bugs you have mentioned I have already fixed them in the new update I have been working on (I will be posting a devlog on the update later today).

As for your suggestions, I really like the ideas you gave. I imagine having something like minecraft’s bedrock under the worlds would work. As for key binds that is something I will try to implement in this upcoming update as I could imagine this would be a good feature.

I appreciate your feedback and hope you enjoy playing the game!

Hello wonderful people! I have been working on a 2D space sandbox game for about the past year and with a recent update I just pushed out, I feel like I need some feedback on the playability of the game. In the most recent update I added a tutorial, and I want to see if that helps players understand how to play the game better (because that was a big problem before). Anything you think will help improve player experience please let me know, thank you in advance!

Pigel is a very simple 2D sandbox game made with a 16 by 16 screen resolution (Can fit within the texture on a Minecraft block) and within 3 hours. Feel free to mess around in it for a bit, and I would be very appreciative if you even report bugs. If possible I would love to update this game but after all this is just something I did for fun and wanted to show people. Thank you guys!

Thanks for the feedback! I sadly focused more on the art and wasn't able to get everything I wanted in the jam version, however I plan to have a giant feature update after the submission period ends

Really cool concept and fits the 64*64 restriction well, however one recommendation is make opening the inventory a button instead of having to go all the way down to open it.

Really cool idea, I couldn't stop playing lol

Love the chill art style mixed with the laid back gameplay, good job!

Love the art style! Also the mouse pointer works way better in an isometric environment as opposed to wasd, so great job!

Cool idea!

Thanks for the feedback! Admittedly I may have made my game hard to control lol, however once you hit the 'roll' button that pops up, it rolls the dice and once you see a red circle around you, you can then hit space to make the distance farther (Up to how much you rolled). Press enter to get a target icon and then  press enter again and the kart will go in the direction of the target. I hope to make the controls easier once I can update the game!

Once you have set the distance you want (pressing space) then hit ‘enter’ and the target icon will start spinning in that circle, hit enter again and you will drive in that direction.

I love the style and concept however it could be better by saying where you will end up before going to the next dice. Otherwise great game!

The fact that this was made in 48 hours amazes me. This is a really fun game with a great art style!

I love the art style and could not stop playing no matter how much I died, great job!

I love the dicey spin on tower defense games... I will see myself out

I enjoyed the cutscene and flinging around the dice was really fun!

Weird controls, however I love the style and puzzles!

Great pack for really cheap, I don't even know if I will use this, but I bought it anyways because this is amazing!

Have you ever wanted to build the sky Island of your dreams, well now you can! Start with nothing as you slowly gain materials from meteors crashing into your island, and build your very best Island out of those materials. Complete with crafting, tree farming, layered building, and frequent updates, you will love this game

Play the game here

Thanks for the feedback! I will for sure get onto fixing the random game overs. And for the cannons you press k on the keyboard to fire all of them. I thought that I put that in the tutorial, but as it turns out that was left out. Thank you for your time.
