Man, the art and animations in this are really impressive, and I definitely like the effect that the power level has on speed and feel of the movement. It's also impressive for a jam game to be combining puzzles and action like this. Good stuff!

Yeah, I definitely want to have more mechanics and settings for the vehcile as well, including distributing power for acceleration and steering and handling. As well as really exploring forms of audio/visual/tactile feedback for the underlying mechanics in the vehicle. Not to mention lore about the sci-fi physics of the situation.
There are a lot of directions to take. I am going to try to integrate them into my more longterm project that is still in pre-development, but hopefully I can revisit the concept of focusing on performance tuning in more of a sequel...

Thanks man! I was very afraid that no one would understand the game at all. I would like to make a more conventional version where you can actually drive the Hovercar after figuring out how its engine works.

Ah! That makes sense.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I definitely want to make another one at some point.

Very neat concept! Although I'm not sure what the optimize button does, although I'm seeing from some of the replies that it might just be a jam bug.

I gotta say man, you are crushing it with this stuff. Keep it up!

After watching a few people play-test this, I'm convinced it is too hard. I'll be lowering the silver completion time and making a few tweaks after the jam so people can see the rest of the game.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize Odin could compile to wasm.

It's pretty impressive that someone submitted a game programmed in Odin to this jam.

Dang, It's really awesome that you made something in Odin for a jam! How are you rendering the star background? I have been working on a 2D system for a bit and i am trying to find an approach to stars beyond blending voronoi textures.

I like the sound effects the guy has.

Thanks! The engine coolant is the key to getting silver.

Really well done! I definitely would like to play through it again with controller support!

The let's play video screen sent me.

Good stuff. It's some really nice sprite, but especially some nice particle work. That always adds so much to the shoot-y kind of action, and this game nails it.

Nice!

Kinda reminds me of Katamari.

Man, this game has the juice! Nice work!

Man, I really like this thing. Super clean visual style. Nice scoring system. Weapon system like gunstar heroes. But just very clean. Good Stuff!
