I broke a whole lotta power on this one. Great foundation and potential for a great infinite experience!

This game is _fantastic_

I really liked the game play, art, SFX, and mostly everything about the game would be interested in trying again with the twin stick idea, that sounds amazing.

I had a lot of fun playing this game on the fixed version you had, however i did notice a bug in the ending, controls where find but the smaller the game was the harder was to dodge the bullets, would have love some close up camera for the player, since the animation of the mark 2 is really neat. i loved the music to and even tho is short, it does what the theme says, overall i think is a fun game that dunkey would probably play :3

Incredibly polished! Mark 2 feels really good to control. Could definitely see this as some sort of roguelite with rapidly scaling enemy numbers :D

Next version is going to have twin stick shooting and multi-player 🤙🏾

sounds sick, cant wait :D

Really fun game - loved the initial story, art work, music and gameplay. Top game :)

Thanks a bunch!! I fancy myself a writer a lil bit

Bullet Hell, collect power and break out of confinement. Neat premise, while not the most original, I really like the progression and presentation. I was confused for the first portion before and after attacking the cameras. I did not know I was supposed to press both buttons to proceed... Overall this was a fun little experience!

Developer

I'll make sure I put some clearer prompts in the update and some extra variety for you! Thanks for checking it out.

PEAAKKKKKKKKKK

Very polished but way too easy and also personally don't like the way the controls feel. But crazy good presentation

Developer

Originally it was much more challenging but I was afraid the judges might not get enough out of it in the 10 min testing period. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

the art in this is super polished, it looks incredible. I will say a bit more instructions would've helped I did spend to long on the first room after breaking out of the camera room because I didn't realize  I had to charge to expand the level so i was on a pretty repetitive path for a while. once I figured that out the experience was a lot better. My only other nitpick would be that as the level zooms out more and more I feel like the shooting gets less snappy and more disconnected with where I want my projectiles to go. overall this is a cool game a premise.

hell yeah, this rips.

Great submission.

Love the art style and the music and the overall atmosphere. A little controls tutorial would have been nice but it is present on the pause screen.

Nice submission. The art style is really nice and the game feel is too. My only complains are the understanding of the objective and the controls, maybe a little tutorial would've been nice. Otherwise, solid game.

Great presentation and engaging gameplay. I found the shooting a little difficult though and spamming j and k repeatedly felt a little funky. I think maybe having the player shoot automatically and focus more on dodging enemies could have been more fun for me.  Also pressing j+k at the same time to overload the power wasn't explained in the beginning so I just thought the game had glitched. Other than that great work!

The visual aspect to this game is REALLY good, I dont like the zooming out because it makes the sprites look less crisp, the gameplay is cool

Only problems I had was understanding what to do at the start, I didnt get told anything, but pressed enter and saw controls, then button mashed. After that its clear but having some kind of prompt or telling controls would be nice

Submitted(+1)

Good stuff. It's some really nice sprite, but especially some nice particle work. That always adds so much to the shoot-y kind of action, and this game nails it.

Love the style on this, and the idea of breaking out into bigger and bigger rooms is very cool. The controls were a little tough, but I was getting the hang of it towards the end. Overall I loved the atmosphere, great work!

Awesome game, loved the power trip it makes the player go through, I wasn't enjoying the controls, but the presentation, pixel art, and everything else elevated the experience for me :D

Submitted(+1)

Really cool presentation. The aiming is a bit weird, got a bit frustrating to control when there were many enemies. Also camera shake was a bit much, but going POWER mode was epic.

It's definitely a concept that would be better with twin-stick aiming, which is what I'm going to do in the next version.
