It will be getting continued development for sure, I'm currently still working on it, can't wait to get it to a releasable state. Thanks very much for your honest review :D

This is not the first game where you drop down but in this style maybe? The camera issue has already been fixed and will be updated soon after the Jam rating period ends and I have platforms that break implemented, I just ran out of time to have them in the game by the Jam's deadline, I appreciate the suggestion and thanks very much for playing!
This game is beautifully made, the visuals are stunning and the music in the background perfectly fits the theme of Icarus vs The Sun. Extremely well made for the time limit! The shooting I believe could use a slight amount of aim assist for player satisfaction and I wish there was more to do as I was able to complete it within the first run, but overall this is a brilliant take on the theme and very well executed, congrats! :D
If you don't lose, you won't see it :D Jk, I will be changing that when I release the next update It was just a bit of fun for the jam. Why thank you very much for the kind words, although the character art is placeholder at the minute and will be getting an upgrade as well I think, Thanks for playing and leaving a review! :D
Awesome, I'm not sure how you saw a bit of Elden Ring and DS3 in this but I couldn't be happier with that comparison as the souls games have been my favourite since I was about 13 (I'm 23 now) so thanks very much for that, made my day.
As for the advice... I have already made changes to the players movement to slow things down a bit, however I don't plan on adding checkpoints as I saw this as being similar to jump king where there is potential to lose all progress with one mistake for maximum intensity, but I have ideas on how the player could maybe rest for a while. I will consider checkpoints though if I feel my current idea isn't going to work out as planned.
The camera has also already been altered to where it makes using the look down less of a necessity and more of a luxury, and I plan to do much more strategic level design so the look up is also useful.
I've thought of adding enemies to the game and I like your idea of risk for reward with the reduced fall damage. The enemies aren't a sure thing yet but definitely up for consideration.
Thanks a lot for taking your time to carefully analyse and review my game, I really appreciate it and I look forward to the day I can release an update for you and any others that would like to try out a more refined version of my game. Happy jamming, take care :D
I like the idea, it has a pretty nice level of polish to it and felt quite satisfying until level 10 where it went from super easy to quite difficult, I think there should be a more gradual difficulty curve. Also I discovered a bug where if you keep trying to place the blocks with the spikes on them against a wall, eventually it would just let you. But overall for a game made within jam hours I think you've done very well, Great job!
Very obvious idea but extremely well executed, the graphics are incredible, the movement feels very fluid, the mechanic of jumping in and out of the lava is clever and overall the game is super well polished, only bit of criticism I have is that the level unlock is a little slow and I found myself pressing D to go to next level as it changed itself so I almost replayed level 1 countless times XD. Absolute gem :D
Really nice art and idea for the game, but I would say up the pace a bit, 25% every 50 points is a little slow and I was unsure if there was a win state or just endlessly looping, I think a good thing to add would be winning after a certain amount of points with an indicator so the player knows and wants to keep going. Overall though, this is a really fun and pretty well executed game idea with great art, great job! :D
This is a Jam highlight maybe even a Jam winner for sure, extremely well made game, fantastic art, strong game loop with an online leader board to keep me addicted, shame I never got a good enough score to want my name on there but you win some you lose some, only bit of criticism I have is the music is a bit repetitive, that's it! Great game, good luck! :D
Cute lil game, I like the wiggle of toot when you walk, level design is confusing, art is interesting, pancake at win screen looks nice but I'm not sure toot would ever manage it by himself. The rat calling mechanic was pretty cool but that lil mf can fit through the holes in the wall, not sure if that was intentional, overall unrealistic portion of pancake but the game was fun and cute, great work! :D
Yet another great submission for a jam, unfortunately didn't get much chance to catch the stream since I too was participating in the jam but overall this is another fantastic game, great graphics and sfx, replay ability good menu design, scene transitions, great job! looking forward to the next one :D
