The movement and shooting are good, you can have fun, but the game is still very raw, a few more hours of work and I believe it would be a great game

I really liked it, the Atari vibe was very good, the concept of the game too, a good implementation of a short metroidvania, with powerups that change the gameplay. but the movement wasn't that good, I missed a "coyote time" in the jump, and when I picked up the glider it became more difficult to control. In the flying part, I got stuck in the two parallel spikes and couldn't get through. Overall it's a very good game, a little more polishing will be perfect.
This was the game that I had the most fun playing from Gamejam, it was really good, the fact that you are running away from the water and there is no lava makes the game very unique, but the icing on the cake is the mechanic of using the erased bodies as an aid in phase, it works really well and everything was well thought out. The only thing that bothered me was the jumping, but this is compensated by the fact that you can use your bodies to reach places you couldn't reach.
The idea of the game is good, it has a lot of potential for something cool, but it was not well implemented, it has common mistakes from a beginner developer or short production time, but it is something that you will improve in the future, the controls work well, but the Movement is not well polished, making it very difficult to jump on platforms, and some jumps are almost impossible to get right. The way lava fills the map makes it impossible to complete the game if you're not extremely fast at the start.
Some things to help you improve the game or future projects:
Add coyote time (This will greatly improve jumping, and will allow for better precision and control of the character)
Adding double jump (this is something that, if used well, greatly enriches platform games, allowing you to create more elaborate platforms)
Because it is an hourglass, the lava can flow from the top to the bottom (this would differentiate the game from several others where the lava starts from the bottom to the top) the lava could flow through the corners of the hourglass and fill it.
The game is really fun, it reminds me of flash games, it's something that with the right mechanics I could play for hours. Something that would improve the game would be to leave it with a single phase (Survival) with hordes of enemies instead of different phases. Having defense buildings or buildings that provide more fire would be cool too
The game is very fun, challenging, and the concept is very good, but I found it very punishing, as it takes a long time to recharge the lava, and the shots consume lava, making it necessary to spend a lot of your HP to destroy a single enemy. I liked the power ups, if the store appears as soon as the player dies it will greatly improve the experience
