I would have to lie to tell I'm not wow'ed. The art is amazing, the idea for ingredients is really great - there's more stuff to find than just the things party is sent to look for, I'm sure any player who wants to dabble in alchemy themselves will have a lot of fun.

The module is really open ended, and highly modular, by which I mean - it's easy to drop into an ongoing campaign. A quality I highly appreciate!

Layout is good, I really like that the background and all information necessary to introduce this module to your game is clearly presented at the beginning, without any attempts of mystery. That's good. Mystery is for the players.

One criticism I have is that I wish the dungeon itself had more ways to enter or to approach it.

I did some googling. I couldn't find any information more fresh than 10 months, so unless they changed something within last year, here's how it works:

You want to be at or above median, otherwise your score gets adjusted using the following formula:

sqrt(number of scores/median number of scores)

Median is not average, keep that in mind.

So let's say you only got 8 ratings, and median entry was rated 10 times. Your score would be adjusted using a factor of 0.89 also known as square root of 0.8. meaning that even if every score was perfect 5/5, your final adjusted score is now 4.45

This is meant to make sure that unpopular entry with one or two votes does not win over an entry with 100 votes, that managed to maintain it's high score. Which is fair to be honest.

If your score is at median or above it doesn't get adjusted anymore.

If you enjoyed reading that nerd stuff, I'm sure you would enjoy reading The Offworlder. It's an adventure which allows you to bring sci-fi elements into your fantasy world. SHAMELESS PLUG!

Probably the most original work I've seen, with some of the most evocative art I've seen.

Really odd, in a good way. I like the puzzle dungeon approach and I LOVE the conclusion.  Awesome work. Also, the imp-like creature's art speaks to me on some level, I find it really cool

Thanks, these are all good suggestions. I wanted the map to be as easy to find as possible, that's why it's at the beginning. When you want to look at it, you just scroll all the way up (or flip to the very first page), but I see your point!

When you say "moving the tags for room features to the beginning of the line" do you mean using writing "Entrance - C1", rather than "C1 - Entrance", or something else?

And finally, thanks for the nice words! The "magic" items are a product of me trying to roll up "spells" using Knave, but trying to interpret them as sci-fi items. I don't remember all the prompts, but slow cooker of good morale, for example, started out as a "calming oatmeal" prompt :D

Seeing people enjoy the contents has been really rewarding, thank you for kind words. It's my very first published work and I'm really happy seeing people enjoying my stuff. I've seen a lot of interesting-looking modules that felt very un-modular, by which I mean "difficult to drop into an ongoing campaign". This was my attempt at fixing that issue, while delivering something exciting and fun to run.

I started out by looking for a published module that I could repurpose, but I found all of them lacking or uninspiring. When the game jam started, it gave me the final push to say "fine, I'll do it myself" 😁

I definitely welcome all criticism on my writing style. I am not a native speaker, and neither am I a writer, so these are really helpful to keep in mind for the future! Also, I'm not sure if you'd count that, but the Lend-a-tail is kind of a cybernetic enhancement item thing. I was really proud of that one hahaha

I have played A LOT of Heroes of Might and Magic III (aka the best HoMM game), so that might be an inspiration I wasn't even aware of!

edit: I just tried out your suggestion with cutting wills entirely and I agree - sentences sound better. There was maybe a single sentence where I'd keep it! that's nice to learn!

Really evocative work, as soon as I saw an odd knight it immediately gave me the vibe of Mythic Bastionland. Including quotes from the NPCs is a great touch, it really helps with showing who these people are. Maps and drawings are also really neat. I only wish font was a little different (but that's very minor), and I wish there was some indication as to the scale of distance between POI. However, the map included is really neat, looks like something PCs might find in game

Really nice layout of information, clearly explains the situation and provides explanation of the factions. The only criticism I have is that factions feel a little static, I wish some random encounters or something included more tension between groups. However, inclusion of resources of each faction makes it convenient to use Mauseritter faction system. Great adventure overall

the first rule in the Submission Guidelines says" Submitted adventures must be created within the time frame of the game jam"

So if worm jam happened to start the same day as this jam or after, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to submit here. If not, well...

I love your style! I would love some help with my submission if you're not yet flooded with requests <3  hit me up at suavek615 at gmail if you can
