This was a really cool concept that I wish could have been fleshed out a little more! I liked the messaging about the calmness between life and death, but I do wish there was a little more for what happened after this, even if it were just a little more outro text.

Regardless, great job on the game and cool idea!

The game looks and sounds really nice, but I feel like it falls short on the actual gameplay side of things; it feels like nothing in the game has any consequences at all -- when you lose the Goddess just comes and says "no, you're blessed it never happened" then you wake up and it was just a dream.  This game really felt more like a cutscene than anything else. Preparation means nothing if there are no actual consequences or things to build around.

I really like the sound and visuals of the game,  it feels like a good amount of time went into designing these elements. Having said that, though, right now, this game feels like it only has the "calm before the storm" and no actual build-up to anything chaotic after the storm. Also, the loss mechanic being tied to distance (unless I'm missing something obvious) rather than something like how much you are moving feels unintuitive when the icon is for sound. Either way, it's a great job for a first game, however, so you should all feel proud! Congrats!

I really liked the idea and its implementation! It was a little annoying having to replay both characters if you die, but other than that, very well done!
