I'd prefer Discord. Shoot me a message at .thedyingoflight

Looking forward to talking to you. I'll set up a group with all of us soon.

Hey man, your music is quite gripping.

Are you still looking for a team? We are 3 people already.

We are still looking for a composer.

Darn it. :)

Good luck with your team.

Looking forward to see what you make.

Hi! I have some background in game development using PyGame, where I've built games like Snake and Tetris. I’ve also co-developed a physics simulator for n-body problems. I’m expanding my skills into GoDot and have a keen interest in worldbuilding and hard sci-fi, especially with unique bullet and weapon mechanics ideas.

Having recently freed up my schedule by leaving my job, I'm fully committed to dedicating my time to a game jam project. If you’re looking for a programmer ready to dive deep into development and bring some innovative ideas to life, I’d love to team up!

Hey man, do the two of you still have a spot open on your team? I'm doing this for the first time and am looking for teammates.

I have a decent amount of coding experience. I have built a few simple games like Snake, Tetris, and so on in PyGame.  The most complicated project so far has been a physics simulator I built with a friend of mine where we simulated n-body problems.

I can do PyGame and am currently learning GoDot. I like worldbuilding and love hard sci-fi. I have some interesting ideas for bullet/weapon types.

Shoot me a message, if you think this could work out with an extra programmer.

Hm, we'd have to settle on an engine. I have a strong preference for Godot, as I want to improve my skills there. If you're willing to take a shot at it for the purpose of making a game in this jam, I feel we can team up. What do you think?

Hello Daus,

I’m impressed by your experience in game music composition, particularly in styles like Techno and Drum and Bass. I'm Jens, a programmer working with PyGame and GoDot, focusing on hard sci-fi-themed games. Your musical influences and ability to craft intense and subtle tracks could greatly enhance the gaming experience we aim for.

I'm fully dedicated to developing games full-time and would love to explore how your music can integrate into our project. Let's discuss this on Discord soon.

Best regards,

Jens

Hi there!

I came across your post and am intrigued by your experience in music production. I'm a game developer specializing in programming. I've worked with PyGame and am currently diving deeper into GoDot. My projects often lean towards hard sci-fi themes where engaging soundscapes like yours could really elevate the experience.

I'm fully committed to game development full-time now and would love to see if we could collaborate on a project.

Looking forward to the possibility of working together!

Hello!

Your skill set as a programmer and 2D artist with a solid grasp of game mechanics and concept design sounds perfect for collaboration. I’m experienced in PyGame and am currently expanding into GoDot. My strengths lie in programming, and I have a deep interest in worldbuilding and hard sci-fi, where I focus on developing unique game mechanics, particularly innovative bullet and weapon types.

Having recently transitioned to full-time game development, I can dedicate substantial time to our project. My programming expertise complements your design capabilities well. Let's discuss how we can combine our skills to create something engaging!

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Hey!

I just came across your post, and we might have a great synergy! I'm Jens, and I've developed games using PyGame, tackling projects from classic games like Snake and Tetris to a more complex physics simulator dealing with n-body problems. Recently, I've started exploring GoDot, which I understand you prefer. I'm really keen on the programming aspects, especially within worldbuilding and hard sci-fi frameworks, where I have some innovative ideas for bullet and weapon mechanics that could complement your needs.

I've just cleared up a lot of time by leaving my job, so I'm ready to dive deep into a focused project. While you're looking for a composer and possibly an artist, I could solidify the programming front, ensuring we have a robust foundation to build our game.

Let me know if this sounds good, and we can discuss it further!

Great to hear you're diving into your third jam and looking for a team this time around! I've been coding for a while, mainly in PyGame, crafting classics like Snake and Tetris, plus I've tackled a more complex physics simulator tackling n-body problems. Recently, I started picking up GoDot too.

I'm really into worldbuilding and have a keen interest in hard sci-fi—so if you're aiming for something in that realm, especially with innovative bullet/weapon mechanics, count me in! I've just cleared my schedule (said goodbye to my job!) and have loads of time to dedicate to creating something cool and unique for the jam.

Let’s create something awesome together! Feel free to hit me up if you think we could mesh well on this project!

Hey man, your art looks amazing.
