Thank you for playing!

Great game! Love the characters and dialogue. I wish it was longer! The ending was great, but I want to know what happened next!

Playing with Ouiki as lucid dreamer, I had no issues with the difficulty. I will say the design of the final boss is pretty evil, but I like that, and I was able to figure it out. The music was awesome as always with feverdev games.

My only major complaint is that I couldn’t find Amalgamia, no matter where I looked, and this was very upsetting to me.

Thanks man, happy to hear it! It ended up as some kind of blend between Pixel Junk Monsters and Dungeon Defenders - if you like this you may also enjoy those games.

Thanks for the feedback! Figured I’d post it at least so somebody could play around with it.

The unit running to the edge of the map is actually them trying to attack themselves, weird little behaviour I didn’t have time to fix after I got the attack order working last second, ahaha.

Didn't have time for cameos this time, but I'll definitely record some in the future! Got a ZOOM just for that. And yes, the dilemma between defeating the baddies and needing to get stronger was the intended duality haha, though with how little time the 'town' ended up getting it can be a little hard to detect.

Sorry about the mouse sensitivity! As this was my first game I didn't end up having time to throw together a settings menu. I'll patch in something after the jam is over.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Bevy has been extremely easy to use, although it still lacks a lot of features and has no graphical editor. I've used Unreal, Unity, Godot, and I was working for a while on a custom engine in C, and Bevy is by far my favorite so far, as it doesn't seem to lose performance for its ease of use, which was a big concern of mine. Rust is honestly a bit weird sometimes but I haven't found it too hard to pick up.

So glad you enjoyed it! It was actually meant to be like you said, with a town full of innocent people cheering you on to save the lands, and the player slowly becoming ridiculously powerful. But time was short. I may finish it more after the jam; the code became an awful mess in the last two days, but I'll at least fix up the balance so that at level 500 you aren't still getting murdered by level 40 ninjas.

This is fantastic. Please do keep working on it! My favorite game of the jam.
