Thanks for the comment and effort into playing it.

I did attempt to put in screen shake, but it did not want to do what I wanted it to make it feel like, so decided to leave it out 😅

Otherwise I do agree with you, about them should be feeling more powerful and aiming more pleasent 😎

Lots to improve on for the next time i make a mech like game.

click one of mechs first

:D looks and feels better now with the music and extra colors.

Not a game made during or for this jam - its been posted on several other jams under different names.

-100 points

I dont understand why it is posted in this pratice jam - clearly not a game you made for the jam.
-100 points.

Highscore 340

  Sounds

simple and effective.

  Music

- it need some nice and chilled music.

Graphics

- It show what it is suppose to.

Gameplay

- Easy and simple - making trick shots felt fun.

Final notes:

Updating your cover image and adding screenshots would be good. Make the ballons drop faster after x minuts would challenge the player.

Frustrating :) but then again so is all rogue like games ;)

  Sounds

simple and effective, though i did not feel like the combat sounds match the epicness of the music.

  Music

- becomes repetitive - having 2-3 tracks on loop would help

Graphics

- Would benefit from improval, but wont focus too much on that since it is time consuming to make.

Gameplay

- I found it very difficult to find a balance between building new tech and keeping my units counts up, to suddenly be hit by a 8 enemy forces, insted of the 2-3 in the first couple of weeks..

-Spells

-seems ok, need to be used very smartly

Combat-

It works as intended.

Final notes:

Could be turned in a nice rogue like strategy game.

It has potentials :)

Sounds

simple and effective.
Music

- becomes repetitive - having 2-3 tracks on loop would help

Graphics

- Liked the simplicity of it - Though black terrain could look a little more slick.

Gameplay

- if you run around most of the time it is ok fun, but it never really get harder or more difficult. And since you have the protective areas up all the time it felt too easy, I upgraded the spell 5 times. Then went ahead and camped outside one of the field as easily racked up 100+ hearts.
-Added randomness to the protective field would help (not in a fixed location)

-Spell spreading

- felt like it did not spread fast enough

Monsters -

they seem kind dumb, but they do their part in the game - would be good if they got more challenging as the game goes on.

Bob

- is a nice guy.

End game

- I fed the dark spell 101 hearts - that broke the game :D also having to click it 100 times kinda sucked, maybe just make it HOLD down right button and it feed 1 hearts x seconds.

Minimap

- cool that it is there, but need to have a tiny blob there shows where you are on the minimap.

Final notes:

-If you keep working on it, i believe you could have a fun game people would play over and over.

Nah it good - my bad :)
- stylish and emotinal cute little game.

:D difficult to predict the projectiles but otherwise it worked as intended.

-map seemed randomized which made it more difficult.

That worked really well and smooth.
Was a little unfair that the enemy could shoot from off screen, especially in the top/bottom.

my score was 49 .

Oh dear lord my keyboard definitely did not feel like letting my double  jump when i wanted it to

-fun little game though :)

This game have been posted in several other gamejams -

Thanks - and yes i agree, it does need something more :) but already on next gamejam. And getting more XP :D

Thanks - and yeah working on it for another day would have done good things :D

pretty neat for a first time game - i liked the hand painted graphics :) looks like some artrage could do.

-wished the mechanics would be a little more like slingshots, felt it was really difficult getting outside the starting point.

40.380 - did i wonned? :D

felt like a weird good old arcade game :)

GG - had a lot of fun holding down left button - :D

GG - destroyed a platform so i could not progress :D haha

-cute little game, controls felt slick.

Did not manage to get the ball through the hoop - felt very difficult making that ball go higher.

game however looks cool

This guy is definitely doing bouldering in his sparetime :D sticks to walls like glue.

Looks and feels good otherwise.

Very chill game :D though i did not manage to ascend much

loved the visual style though.

If this was made in those short amount of days it is kinda impressive. :)
Jumping/grapling sound is way too loud though.

Nice that it gets more challenging as you ascend.

Who knew going to the moon would be that tricky :D

neat little game, easy controls and end goal.

And yeah i did manage to ascend into space :D

:D that was a fun game "fast as f*** boyyyyyy"
-felt like the good old doom times or such.

Yeah - considering i have not done any game dev in 6 years. Im okay with the result i did make. :D

Controls work fine :) some jumping sounds would have been neat.

Being a axolotl deep under water is a dangerous life :D so many deadly things there.
-Cute simple music track.
-Artwork also cute.

Took a little time to figure out to left click - anyway, cute little game. Could not finish it since i had made the fruit hit the bottom in a few tiny pixels here and there.

Sounds would do alot.

Did not manage to get past the first couple of windows lol :D

-but mechanics works fine, neat little game.

I made it through the entire thing - Yay :D
-Would have benefitted alot from some sounds, but controls felt pretty slick, rick.

I made it through the first level :D - would be neat if it did not reset the entire game.

hehe yeah - a little tutorial would prob have made it more clear then then main menu text.

Thank you - and yeah i most definitely agree that a actual character and platform designs would have done a lot more.
alas, i did not have the time.

Thanks

Sounds neat :D hehe always something cool about that dark feel to games.

Thanks - yeah would prob be a good idea.
-My concept were just that since it was to be speedrun, they would reset the world and do better next attempt ^^

Pretty neat game.

I found the jumping style difficult :D but im sure better games can manage.
