I'd be happy to jump into discord and show you how our game is setup - you can find/dm me from the GWJ discord under the same username as here

Thanks for giving our game a go! :D
The small-video bug was one we encountered with not just this but with many itch games but just in Firefox (for us), so I'm glad that small toggle came in handy for you too
I'd noticed that about the disk too after uploading and I've already fixed it in my local version, just waiting to update after the jam voting finishes :)
Having it fixed definitely helps sell the red-shift effect on the space objects!
Thanks for giving our game a play!
I'm glad you enjoyed the background and aesthetic - our artist worked extra hard, even surprising me with a final revision (what you see in the game currently) in the final hour of the jam :D
A small hint for getting a higher score: you can build speed like in space (avoid sharp changes in direction, smooth turning like a plane would is key)
As for further content, I have in the works an update for post-jam that's adding a bunch of things based on feedback
I put it together as a post for anyone interested: https://thefinaldegree.itch.io/stbh/devlog/735083/super-tiny-critical-bug
Edit: Wanted to note that this was played without sound
A small short game as a first second entry to Godot Wild Jams,it's simple and well-playing in that I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches but I didn't feel a reason for playing through, so after the second (and admittedly half-hearted) run I felt finished with the concept.
Feels like it could be a very interesting introspective game with a bit more time & content.
A decent effort overall.
Interesting game, hard to play in it's current form.
It was on my 3rd play when I discovered that only half the projectiles from enemies were meant to be collected and not dodged (everything was travelling at the same speed, fast, towards the player)
The UI was initially a bit tough to figure as there's a biiiig graphic for a controller, then for keyboard controls it's hiding amongst a wall of text, whoops
One last note would be a more clear signal for the weapon being on cooldown, feels jarring to have it suddenly stop right as things start to get intense.
With a bit more polish, I would for sure have another few playthroughs, would be nice to see if you do eventually fly into the black hole (the closest I got was inside the accretion disk, which admittedly made it very hard to see anything going on)
Fun little game, would be good to have a tutorial and grid-movement to make going into 1-wide holes a bunch easier.
Found a few small bugs while playing:
- Attempting to mine the lowest layer block locks the game
- When on a rope that's touching the lowest layer, the player can continue to move past this block and into a freefall outside the intended game world
Overall a nice game, very enjoyable
