Thanks Lifeofpet!

I'll make sure to look into the crash and adjusting the enemy serving. Next time the game crashes could you hit "B" and grab a pic of the crash report for me? Also, when did this crash happen, was it when you or the opponent should have won?

In the meantime, if you hit the menu button there should be an option to skip the opening tutorial.

Thanks Raquel!

Haha well I'm glad you were able to keep it closed so long!

Thank you very much! Sorry for the late reply, I got busy the last several days.

Adding a better progression system would be sweet, something I would have to think about so that it felt rewarding

Thank you, glad you had fun!

Let me know what you think! And thanks for playing!

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked the pixel art! :)

I enjoyed the platforming. I don't know if it was just me, but it felt like there wasn't a constant velocity when moving the player. Rather, it felt like I started slow but sped up as I continued to move until I was going to fast. More variety in the platforms and obstacles would add more diversity in level design but that might be out of scope for a game jam.

Good work on designing the platforming, some levels were hard but that made it more fun to beat!

Please check out Wardread when you get the chance!

I saw you commenting on a lot of games this jam. Your game is really good and the fact that you went through the effort of rating so many other games and playing/rating all the games in your thread is outstanding. Thanks for doing all this!

And I'm pretty sure you already played my game, Wardread, but I'll leave it here for anyone else who wants to try it:

The amount of charm in this game is great! The platforming controls feel tight and I really enjoy the music.

Great job!

Thank you! Yeah I messed around with the difficulty a bit, but I might go back and revisit it

Good game design. Although the gameplay loop was simple, you guys executed it well enough to keep me playing. I wish I could've found more torches though haha

I really had fun playing this one! Great use of the theme and overall good design, art, and sound!

Just played it, very fun and simple game! Here's mine if you could check it out:

Thanks for playing, glad you had fun!

Thank you, that's very kind! I really appreciate the feedback, and I think both of your points are valid. A fix might be something like making the light more obvious or have it stick out more at the bottom.

Thanks Pocket Hacker!

A creative combination of a matching game while also staying true to the theme. I had fun playing it and the visuals look great! The music was fitting and the door "shuffling" sound was surprisingly satisfying.

Fun game!

I'll check it out! Here's my game Wardread, enjoy!

I liked the idea of using the door to travel to different locations and steal items from that world, it's a fun idea. I did have some trouble trying to understand the order of when and where to do things.

Charming game, and a fun concept using the jam's theme!

Here you go Kospingtan, thanks for playing all these games and congrats on doing your first game jam!

Really cool and fun concept! Having the spirit slowly guess your name added pressure and having the player enter their name was a neat way to have a difficulty setting while also engaging the player. I enjoyed trying to solve for the spirit's name but I wonder if there's another way to figure it out besides having to skim/search each spirit entry. I also did not see anything door related for the jam theme lol

This was very well done, the visuals and transitions/animations were very clean. Rolling the dice felt and looked great too!

Here you go, hope you enjoy it!

Excellent puzzle designs! The game looked and sounded very appealing, I did not mind restarting the level when I died thanks to this.

Fun idea and use of the theme! I like the idea of the player essentially choosing the path they take through the dungeon. The gameplay loop is very basic but with more time I could see the potential in it.

This was a great use of the door theme and I enjoyed playing it. I think more variety in rooms and enemies would really spice it up. Great work on the game!

Thank you Pigeon! I wanted it to be a game you could play right away but still ramp to build up difficulty and tension.

Your game was actually one of the first ones I played and rated at the start of voting!

Thanks! The leaderboard is only local highscores unfortunately, adding a networked leaderboard would be fun but that would have to be added at a later time.

I'm glad you could enjoy it! Horror also makes me uncomfortable so I'm glad I could create something that gives horror vibes without actually being too scary

All good! Thanks for playing it, I appreciate it :)

Haha I'm sure he didn't like that very much

Thanks! Hopefully it was a fun stressful haha

Thanks Weird Orb! It was great watching you play it on stream. Once you figured out the controls you were keeping them monsters hella contained ;)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed playing it!

Hell yeah!! Proud of you!

Have fun on stream, I'll try and swing by but might be driving. Here's my game if you get the chance to play it!

This was a great game! It controlled smooth, felt nice, and the game design for each floor was different but fun. Innovate use of being able to pick up doors and place them and I like how you had doors with restrictions for puzzles. I do wish I could pick up keys or activate doors when I press the "E" key next to them as well instead of having to hover my mouse over them, but that's a small critique. Also, I know this is kind of odd, but I really liked the way you laid out the UI!

Very fun use of the theme and the game felt great, good job man!

Hope you enjoy playing my game about keeping a closet shut!
