I liked how the mechanics came together very well. I do think though that the armor was overpowered... Beated the game on first try because I took almost no damage ;)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes! Our 3-man team created the game entirely from scratch, except for the font, which was free to use.

Amazing job - everything felt highly polished and the gameplay loop going through each floor felt solid! It's super impressive all of the different monsters and items your team created during the game jam! The art and sound are both very nice and the game design is well executed so I never questioned what to do or how to interact with anything. Well done!! :D
Had fun playing through this! Simple gameplay, but the variety of weapons and enemies you can encounter makes up for it! One small thing, it would be nice if the damage counters reflects the amount of damage you actually dealt to the enemy if it has armor. Was a little confused at first when the damage counter said 4 damage, but hit for 3. Other than that, great work on this!
Simple gameplay but fun and it fit to the theme of the jam well. I like the variety of enemies, weapons, and items. Great job :D

I really liked the idea of the game. It fits very well to the theme. I got robbed like 4 times in a row and lost in the next 2 floors :(
The different types of weapons and learning about which was best to use against each enemy type was engaging. The art is super cute and I loved the music and sound effects as well!
I liked your take on the theme, though as it is right now it seems like the best strategy is to open all the doors on each level in order to find the best gear possible, I would have loved some kind of incentive to take the ladder earlier, so you'd have to make a choice whether to stay or to go to the next floor.
Overall fun game, stacking a ton of armour was very satisfying.
The idea of the game is pretty cool. The attack need some kind of feedback and juice, it's not clear when you can attack and if the attack happened at all
Thanks for the feedback! I can understand your point about it not being clear when/how to attack - perhaps a clear turn indicator or a message telling you to select an item would be an improvement.
I don’t really understand your second point (and I’m trying). There is an attack animation, floating damage number, and sound for both the player and the enemy. Could you elaborate on it being unclear whether the attack happened at all?

The main music track did not 100% fit the scene, but otherwise well done!
I love dungeon crawlers so this peaked my interest instantly :)
I was just set back a bit by the music, it only made me think about Theme hospital and not a deep dungeon crawl with monsters behind every corner.
