Man it’s hard to find these bugs even when running multiple playtests, thanks for recording them. Also, a couple of those features you requested are planned but I’m not promising a release date for them since I’m busy with my studies. Glad you’re still having fun with the table!

This issue should be fixed in the latest version. Please let me know if you encounter it again!

By extra deck, do you mean the process of adding a custom card design or literally the model of the deck of cards on the table?

I’ll check in with Sayu about it. Thanks for notifying me!

Thanks for providing evidence, I’ll get it fixed when I’ve got the time

I’m aware of how kickers work, but that’s a good concise explanation of them.
Are you saying that P2 won instead? If so, that is a problem.

In Heads-Up mode, no side pots are created; that’s intentional. But you are correct in saying that C’s bet should be reduced to A’s– that’s a known issue. It could be a non-trivial issue due to the limitations of Udon V1 but I would like to fix it. I’ll note it in the bug list when I have the chance.

Do you remember or have screenshots of the one pairs / two pairs in question?

Ranked from most to least severe.

  • When the first game of the table is started, the table may not give anyone cards, causing a softlock.
Workaround: Reset the table, then try starting the game again.
  • If a player that has posted a blind (has a forced bet) leaves while the table is processing (i.e. when it is showing the loading icon and message), the table will softlock.
    Workaround: Reset the table. Sorry!
  • Sometimes one or both of a player’s cards will not appear, not allowing them to pick up their hand. (Not the same as a late joiner having no cards; they have to wait until the next round to be dealt in.)
Workaround: Leave and rejoin the game. (If there’s only two players, this will cause the game to end prematurely. Sorry!)
  • Suppose there are 3 players left, each with increasing bankrolls (ex. A has $500, B has $10,000, C has $50,000). If the player with the highest bankroll bets the maximum amount (ex. C bets $10,000 since they can’t bet higher than B), and the player with the second-highest bankroll folds (ex. B folds), the amount of money bet previously is not reduced to the amount of the new second-highest bankroll (ex. C still has bet $10,000. A can go all-in with $500 and now erroneously has the potential to win $9500 back). See this topic.

Thanks dude!

You’d have to ask Weegeepie himself

Out now!

Maybe in the future but WebVR is quite the hassle to work with so idk

Some mods may eventually come to this version of FNFVR, but eventually the game will be open source for ppl to do that themselves!

Do you have an Oculus developer account and have developer mode on? If not, you might wanna look up a tutorial

Just put the APK up on the itch page!

Just did!

Thanks for the reply man! For sure I gotta still figure out the controls, and that’s a good suggestion

Thank you!

I just wanna make sure you’re not breaking any rules that would get you disqualified from the jam. I can tell you put in a lot of work, and it would suck if your game was disqualified due to you not crediting Vsauce, or even for using Vsauce clips in the first place.

When you run into walls, the player is jittering back and forth attempting to not clip into the wall, and since the camera is following the player exactly, it looks like the camera is jittering

Another contender for the best game of the jam! Excellent art, music, implementation, and use of the theme. It’s quite difficult, but not rage-inducing. I especially like that you thought ahead about the player staying in place. I would say that the player feels a bit too sensitive, but I’m playing with a keyboard, which is likely not the optimal way to play this game. Excellent work!

This is one of the best games I’ve played in the jam. I have Firefox, so no sound for me :( but I’m willing to bet that it’s great. The controls are awesome, the difficulty is just right, the objective and themes are clear. The only nitpick I have is that I didn’t initially know what nodes did, but I probably wasn’t paying attention to the controls page lol. This is fantastic in every way!

This is adorable! I wish there was an objective to work towards (maybe I missed that lol) but picking up bones and bringing them back is very cute. Falling off the cliff startled me! Also, you can cheese the game by hold down and left in the dog house. Still, this is excellent!

The concept of the game is cool, but the story and the visuals clash pretty hard (serious vs. funny), and the gameplay was confusing at first. You can easily lose all of your hearts to one enemy. I didn’t even know that you could get the cloning ability, I glitched the first two buttons. Also, I really don’t think you’re allowed to use a portion of a video from Vsauce and some of Michael’s voice clips and say that you made it.
I think that if you found a focus for the game’s story and art direction and did some polishing / bug-fixing, this has a lot of potential.

This is a cool little game! Both the theme and the limitation are implemented very well. I think if you fixed the hitboxes and the camera, and added some different levels, this would be a very complete package. Nice work!

Godot. It’s great for 2D games (and getting better at 3D, too)!

All good dude, just checking

Fantastic job! This is a great game. My only nitpick is that the timer for how long you have until you run out of time to put light bulbs in. Other than that, the levels are great, the art style is cool, the music is moody, and it feels polished. Well done!

Flow motion, did you comment on the wrong post? I made this game…

Questions:
Q: Wow this game is hard
A: It wasn’t supposed to be :(

Q: The game controls badly
A: I know (I don’t think I’m allowed to fix that during the voting period.)

Q: This sounds like copyrighted music
A: You probably have heard some of these songs if you listen to lo-fi on a regular basis. I checked all their licenses; they are under Creative Commons Share-Alike licenses, so they can be used for anything so long as you give them proper attribution (which I did). All the songs can be found in the Credits! If you have any questions about the licenses, just message me.

This is a neat little game! The screen gets very cluttered when you destroy a bunch of tiles and all the +X points pop. Art style is great though, and the gameplay, while a little frustrating, is still pretty fun.

Thank you very much for your kind words! I really should’ve seen the controls problem way earlier– in one of my friend’s / beta-tester’s words, it feels like “you’re moving in gravy”. And I probably shouldn’t have made level design a later priority (that was an overscoping problem). Fortunately, my first time at a week-long, graded game jam makes for a great learning experience. I’m glad that you think the game has potential!

Damn, this is really hard! I’ll have to come back later to try again on the first level. But the art and music are fantastic and the gameplay has this addictive nature to it that reminds me of The World’s Hardest Game. I wish this was a little bit more beginner-friendly, but that’s just my opinion. The difficulty is probably an intended feature, right?
Anyways, excellent work!

This is a cool idea! Unfortunately, I am not of fan of rocket-landing games, but that doesn’t stop me from appreciating that it’s well made (except for the fact that you can die if you turn right as you spawn in). I think some music would make the experience a little bit better too. Again, as a concept, it’s neat, and I think that you executed it pretty well. Nice job!

That’s a good idea, I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for the feedback!

Honestly that’s fair lol

This game is cutesy and a fun concept. I really like the art style; it reminds me of SMB3. The game would more fun if the controls were put somewhere, in the beginning or in the title screen, and the fact that there’s almost no music is off-putting, seeing as some 8-bit music would be very appropriate for this game. But the sound effects are good! Still, this is a neat little experience with a lot of potential. And if you’ve got the time, I would appreciate it if you checked out and rated my game! It’s also a platformer (I’m starting to see a trend for this jam), and I think it’s also pretty cutesy :)

Thanks, and sure! What is your game?

Excellent work! The shifting-between-worlds mechanic is an awesome way to go “there and back”, and I especially like how the music changes to fit the past and present. The levels are pretty fun, but the leaps of faith started to get a little frustrating by level 8, and even more so on level 9. Also, I thought the radioactive platforms were harmful at first.
Besides that, this game is very good, the story draws me in (with heartbreak!), and you definitely nailed the theme.
If you’ve got the time, I’d appreciate it if you checked out and rated my game, Busy Mind! It’s also a platformer, and it’s got some chill vibes :)
