Thank you!! :) To go back, you have to walk to the left of the fountain, there's another puzzle (the star field) which will provide the way back when solved. I see that some players have issues with the passages, I'll try to make it clearer / add hints on the next iteration...

Thank you!! :) I'll try to add the switch after the end of the jam. To proceed with the game, click on the Light spot on the floor in the left bottom corner to walk to the next room. I'll try to make it more visible next time, too.

Hi, any idea why the list of submissions only shows 19 out of 31?

And specifically, is there something wrong with my submission that it's not shown? EDIT: Oh I see, it's disqualified. I would like to know why...

Sure, Windows 10: i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 8Gb RAM,  NVidia GeForce GTX 680

and Linux Ubuntu 20.04: i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GeForce RTX 2060. The Linux one can run Hogwarts Legacy through Steam Play, so it should be able to handle games of similar complexity.

Thank you and good luck!

Thank you! :)

Hey :) So sorry I can't rate your game, because my Windows comp is apparently too old and low spec to run it. Even after I changed the video settings to the lowest, it keeps crashing/hanging, the furthest I ever got is picking the key. And I didn't succeed to run it on my main comp with Linux, neither via Steam Play nor any other emulator. Such a pity, was really looking forward to playing it. Hopefully you publish it on Steam someday, then I suppose they'll take care of the compatibility...

Thank you so much! :) Ah, so you didn't get to play with a couple more tablet upgrades , so if you feel like replaying (sorry, I never got around to implementing save/restore), let me know what stage you're on (did you manage to repair the bowl? to water the tree? ) and I'll write how to get to the next room.

Thank you so much!! LOL, never expected to get a compliment on the graphics, especially in comparison to everybody else... I'm much more comfortable with low-res and lospec palettes, due to my very limited drawing skills... If you'll have any questions about the code, don't hesitate to ask :)

I'll definitely try out your game, the description looks very impressive and interesting!

Thank you!! :) I plan to make a new version with the mouse controls soon :) Though the interface was an interesting challenge, to make a game which is point&click at heart (not a side scroller) even though the mouse was not allowed.

Thank you very much!! :) The heart is in the bedroom which is to the right of the living room (the room with the bookshelf - just walk to the edge of the screen). When the jam will be over, I'll update the game so it goes right into the bedroom after the 1st scene, and it will be more clear that you can walk. Hopefully I'll be able to add mouse control instead of the arrows, eventual ly. And maybe the time will come when I can add sound effects - it was just too much to do in 2 weeks ;)

Yeah, the surreal feel was intentional :)

Thank you! Note that when you drag a word, sometimes it loses the red underline - this means that the word is on the correct line. And when all the words on a specific line are placed in a correct order, it will also display a blue light on the right margin.

Wow, it looks amazing, and very atmospheric! But soon after destroying the 1st crystal and advancing to the next level, my character keeps getting stuck in some dark corner and unable to move. Well you did mention not using the full screen, but's really hard to play otherwise...

I love the graphics, and that there are so many configurable options, especially palettes! Can't really judge the gameplay because it's too hard for me, never managed to destroy any enemy, but it's my fault and not the game's fault :)

Very interesting idea with the radar, and it works well. Though the game is a little too abstract for my taste.

Congrats with your first game! Great level design, simple but effective, introducing new obstacles every time. It was very hard for me with my slow reflexes, but I kept trying, and actually managed to complete the game, because it was fun! and I was curious to see the new levels. Well done with the controller support, it really helps.

Lovely graphics and sound! From the tileset picture, this game has a lot of potential. Sadly, it's hard to play because the character keeps getting stuck in one place whenever he strays from the path. Or he goes over a building and gets stuck in it.

This is so cute!! Cool graphics, esp the mushrooms, and funny enemies. Not sure what to do though - can't pick anything, can't enter any house (except for the inn after getting killed), and the monsters keep killing me.  But I'm not used to this kind of RPGs so probably missing something obvious...

Fantastic graphics! Never thought that 3D in 4 colors could look so nice. Learning Godot sounds more and more appealing ;) Great gameplay too, simple but effective, and I appreciate that it doesn't require quick reflexes.

So cool and polished, it has everything: nice art style, authentic sound, controller support, the Linux version, and most importantly, humor! Photographing corpses is not something seen in every game ;)

Thank you so much!! :)

Go to tle left of the fountain, past the edge of the screen, and there will be a screen with another puzzle, which will allow you to get back to the house. The heart is in the room to the right of the living room.

Thank you so much!! :) Do you still need help? Note that some items are draggable (e.g. books on the floor) in the USE mode, and in some locations you have to walk to the edge of the screen to get to the next room (e.g. living room -> bedroom).

Thank you so much!! :)

Yay! Thank you so much again :)

So you didn't find the code for the safe, and didn't find the right phone number to call. You have to use the pills (use them in your inventory) in every room and see what is changed. In the bedroom, the phone directory is changed, presenting you with the hint for the safe password. As for the phone, a message is revealed on the shower door after you take shower, and this is a hint for the phone number (the phone keyboard contains characters in addition to digits). It's also notable that it starts with the exclamation mark.

Thank you! :) I can help you if you want, if you tell me where you're stuck.

Thank you so much! :) Was the sound stuck even when you exited the balcony? I guess I needed to do more testing...

Blue=cold ;) Put it into the minibar and close its door.

Thank you! :) Do you still need help? Do you mean the skeleton key? It's not the final yet ;)

I think I'll update it to use the mouse later...

Yay! I put the hint for ! in the Maintenance phone message, dunno if it was too vague... Did you finish the game?

Thank you! :) I guess you didn't place an order by using the telephone? Note that the phone also has letters on the keys, and there is a strange message on the shower door...

Thank you! The lack of mouse controls is really restrictive, but then, one would never miss a hotspot :) Maybe I'll make a mouse-based version later.
