+1 yeah, could not launch either.

Hm, this is a difficult question, since this is mostly addressed to you I guess. I mean, where would you like to take this game?
It looks like an RTS but with static elements which does not give much of gameplay variety, you'll just have to overpower your opponent. Besides it looks like the current economy system has positive feedback loop. By that I mean, that the one who takes advantage from the start in terms of resources, will only grow it.
Dunno, again, those are just my assumptions on your theoretical plans.
In my fantasy, this node system could be a living moving organism. Or organisms. This would be really cool and fresh :) I guess. Then maybe you'd want the placing of the nodes to matter. Maybe there could be some gold ore on the map, where you should put your miners. All of that stuff.
Sorry for a bit chaotic reply. I'd made a better one if I understood better what you are trying to achieve. Would gladly discuss with you further.
OK, it was fun! Such a Nuclear Throne with limbs :) and a great potential to these mechanics as well :) I really missed the crosshair thoough :) anyway, congratulations on this nice game!
I would really want to sometimes unevitably get into situations where I'd have to use head. This part is really funny where you a reviving body with the head :)
The presentation is awesome, I like the graphics and animation. The art style is just great! And the overal idea is cool, I built some of base and different nodes, but I did not understand how to win. I placed turret, it fired, but I couldn't see any damage dealt. The enemy base never grew as well I guess. Maybe this is what you meant by "broken" :) Anyway, I think with a bit more time this is gonna be a thing. Congratulations on this one!
Very nice game! My favourite thing about it is the satisfactory laser-attachment mechanic. I guess this game would really fit mobile. Great job! Congrats on this one!
The only thing is I'd suggest you to make some icon with graphics. I clicked the game almost accidentially, but then I really liked it. Maybe this is too subjective, dunno, just IMHO.
Wow, thank you very much for the rare 3d game here! :) And for the working mac build as well! The presentation with all the characters, shaders and camera is just great. I like it a lot, the main mechanics feels a bit monotonous though. I understand the time limitations, it's just some piece of advice for future maybe. You could let the character switch between several columns, maybe give him some powerups... Anyway, the game is really good :) Congrats on that!
Nice idea and I really like this distorting shader :) really nice game and a good take on the jam topic! My advice would be to make it either less arcady and more puzzle-driven or vice-versa.
'Cause as of now I'd say the character's not responsive enough for arcade, at the same time the hazards are a bit too arcady and analogous as for puzzle (by that I mean you do not see the exact pass you have to take, and you need also to get the right timing, I'd leave the timing only for now, and make corridors' cellular for you to see where hazards pass).
Nonetheless, the game is very nice! Congrats on that!
Oh, thank you! And thanks for the game recommendation, I checked it out and it seems very interesting. BTW I think those guys definitely got inspired by Nuclear Throne and its creators Vlambeer. You should REAALY check out this video on juicyness by their designer. I think it's of great use for any action game designer.
Nice game! The controls are responsive and the alien-styled timer is a nice finding. I like, that it's something physical in the game world and not just some timer in the HUD. What confused me a bit were torches, they look like hazards, but anyway, the idea and the game overall are nice. Congratulations on that!
Well it was nice :) I'd wish the fighting would be a bit more responsive and the difficulty curve a bit more steep. The torch lighting mechanic was not obvious, but I understand it's difficult to put everything in the game, so it's fine you sometimes have to read description of the game. :) Anyway, I like top-downs, the way weapon rotates around reminded me of Nuclear Throne. Congratulations on this one :)
OK, so I should say the game is great, it's a pity it's so short. The idea feels nice and fresh. It took me some time to realize I should take 1 box not to take more. I managed to pass a couple of levels though with just careful jumping :) BTW the platforming is good :) And as for the art, it's just awesome. I like such style, like Downwell, for example. It's a pity I could not hear music :( maybe something with my audio settings. Anyway, great job! I liked this one.
The game is great! Apart from all of the good things said before me, I'd say that the thing I liked most is tutorial hidden under "i" button. So you, sir (or ma'am), gifted me with a nice feeling of discovery when I realized the square can be dragged. It was fun and the presentation is awesome. Thank you!
