very fun!

Yeah of course! Really the only thing I'd ask you to credit is my itch, so just @toadletgames. Thanks!

Absolutely loved the visuals in this game. The animations were really nice and the way that the intro swooped in with the platformer on the in game computer screen was super cool. I also appreciate the view change button though because it was a bit harder to see with the 3D view.

I had a bug (or maybe just a me not understanding things problem) where I would be trying to shoot down the enemies but the bullets just wouldn't come. Maybe there's a cool-down there that I wasn't aware of?

My only other criticism would be I had some wonky collision issues, but I also made a platformer in Unity and my game had the exact same issue, so I'm starting to think it's just a general Unity problem.

Overall though I loved this! Great job!

Best part of this game has to be watching the text horses running across the screen, rooting for yours to win, although I was never quite sure what the stats did or how I should be training. The strategies seemed cool, but I couldn't figure out if there was a way I could change my horse's strategy of if they made much of a difference.

Overall though it was a fun game! Great job!

What a creative and insanely clever game! Your use of text was so creative that I ended up forgetting it was the limitation at all.

The mix of music and sound effects along with the surreal environment of the visuals really just added to the great aesthetic that made the game all the more enjoyable, although I noticed that the music only came through the left side of my headphones, which was slightly distracting.

It's so hard to pick a favorite puzzle out of these as they were all so clever, but the one that had you going through wiki links to find the letter really stood out to me as well as the zoom one.

Great job!

What a neat little game! Took me a minute to figure out that the dot went in a straight line with the angle from where it was spinning instead of where I was clicking, but after I got that it was a really fun (but still really hard) game!

Great job!

What a fun game! Honestly having a game like this when I was younger would've made learning to type way more fun and engaging, as it's pretty hard to play if you're searching around the keyboard for each individual letter to type.

The mechanic that turned you red to kill the enemies was also just very satisfying and a great thing to add.

Not sure how high this is comparatively, but my personal best was 12342.

Great job!

I honestly loved this, seeing as I'm the kind of person that loves games where I can explore different aspects of a person's life and try to figure out a mystery.

The battery mechanic was really good at adding time pressure, though of course my first instinct was to go and play with the tamagotchi despite it. You can imagine my surprise when that ended up actually being useful!

I did end up running out of battery, but got the suspect right anyways! There's a lot of good leads that were fun to pick up on, but honestly would've loved it if it was just a tad longer/more complex with more variables to consider.  As it is though, I really enjoyed it ^^

Great job!

What a fun little game! Definitely has that addictive part to it where you're always wanting to get a new best time. Personally I never got longer than 24 seconds, but it feels like a good difficulty! Takes a bit to get right but still feels fun.

I'm also a big fan of the way you made the sprites! It was such a creative way to use text that I almost forgot that's what the sprites were made out of.

Great job!

Thanks for playing my game!

I've never seen Vimlark's work before, but his text only game looks really neat! Having the words be built as you go wasn't really a concept I'd considered before but it's definitely a cool mechanic. Thanks for leaving the devlog link ^^

Also I'm glad you liked the npcs! I'd definitely want to add more personality to the game overall when I've got the time to look at it again, but I'm especially looking forward to finding ways to give Ascii some personality of their own :)

Thanks for the feedback and playing my game!

The blurry text for the sprites is definitely something I'll be working to fix in the future, a lot ended up losing quality in their journey from Google Docs to a photo editor to remove the white background to Unity. The TTS was also just a little idea I found funny with the theme of everything being text, but could change in the future. And that collision problem... yeah. I'm still not sure exactly what's causing it but when I have the time to expand this game I'll definitely be working on figuring that out.

I would die for these funky little robots. 10/10.

This was a really neat little concept! Loved it!

Wow I really liked this one! Games like this are some of my favorites, and you executed it really well with the time you had! If you ever end up finishing it, I'd love to play more!

Ah, yeah now that you mention it I remember seeing that bug while testing. I'm not entirely sure what would fix it in the programming, but thank you for pointing it out! I works fine with a laptop trackpad, which is what I did the majority of my testing on, so I'd recommend using that. I might go back and fix it at some point, but I won't be able to for awhile.

this was such a nice game to stumble upon tonight. i absolutely love all the little dinos and can't get over how cute the artstyle is! thank you so much for such a delightful little game!
