Fun little prototype. Definitely feels like it could be a start to something pretty interesting. Good job!

my original idea was to have significant impacts with floating  containers or your ship knock them loose, but I decided it was difficult enough already.

you’re an inspiration to us all

The original plan was to have you take parts from the glowing devices to fix your ship, but real life intervened and forced me to narrow the scope and turned it into just wandering around and looking at stuff.  Thanks for playing!

This ain't his first rodeo.

Well made little game, but it reminds me too much of my day job.  Visually it's very nice, great use of the assets and lighting.

I like a lot about this game, the visual style is really nice and the music is great, and the controls are pretty good for a quick jam platformer. My biggest complaint is that often it was difficult to tell what parts of the environment were platforms and what parts were just background art. But it was still fun.

Controls are kind of rough,  and I'm not sure if it was intentional but I liked how your projectiles moved up and down along with your character. Kind of made a neat aiming mechanic. I got a high score of 2200.

It's simple but seems quite functional and pleasant. Pretty impressive for your first game ever, especially given that it was made in a short game jam. Good job!

Nice chill and fun game. Definitely left me wishing there was more content for it, but for a two day jam game, it's great!

Cute truck, good eater. Music isn't nearly epic enough though, rated 0.25/5.

Great job! When I finished the last level, and moved to the screen with all the happy little guys, it made me really happy too.

Fun game, and I love the asset pack you chose. If you decided to work on it any more in the future, I think it'd be cool if growing your airplane gave you some new/different weapons.

Fun concept, nicely done! I wish there was a level reset button, but it's a good little game!

Glad you liked it. It's Unity. I definitely want to give Godot a shot, but a two day gamedev doesn't seem like the situation to learn a new engine in :)

Visually adorable, and the music is great too. I had no idea bushes were so bouncy.

Nice little quick platformer! My biggest issue was that the spikes in level 2 looked a lot like foreground elements so I kept running into them without realizing they'd kill me. But once I got that figured out, I was good to go. Good job!

Fun little game. And wow, all those people driving by the canal and throwing their trash into the water are just the worst!

Don't worry, I won't turn y'all in.

That's awesome. A bunch of the sounds from Mortal Pongbat have permanent residence in my brain.

I really like this game. The music fits so well and makes me happy.

I know you asked about this like a zillion years ago, but I finally revisited this game and released an update, and as part of that I made a mac build. I didn't test it because I don't have a working mac available, but if you'd like to give it a shot, feel free.

I had a bit of a tough time figuring out how to progress early on, and just thought the game was insanely hard. Once I realized that upgrading in the shop was necessary, it got much more interesting and fun, and I really enjoyed it. Great job!

I played around a bit with the size of them, but settled on where they’re at because I think it made for a good sense of scale visually  as well as a decent level of challenge due to the precision required. The collider target for the boulder is actually almost twice the size of the boulder sprite.

Same for me! I really enjoyed making an updated version inspired by it. I hope you enjoy it!

I don't use Linux and don't really want to spend the time officially supporting it, but if I have the time, I'll look into making a linux build and sending it to you to try if you want.

Sure. Give me a few days and I'll try to find some time to work on it.
