Some squash and stretch really does go a long way :)

Thank you so much :)

Even though assets were used all of them work great together creating a nice cohesion between everything. I also love the metroidvania style of the game, in addition to that the parallax background looks great as well. One thing I would recommend is to add variable jump height but i think that is all, Great Game :)

funi bongo cat, But truly the music in this game is above average to say the least (Love the violin stabs), however the visuals do need a bit of touching up. Nice Game :)

The colour scheme in this game is lovely, In addition to that the directional blood splatters just gives the game that extra oomph and satisfaction

Ok now THIS is the game that has some of the best presentation I've seen today, I love the VHS Overlay with the pixelated geometry, However I would say that the transitions between the menus are quite drawn out.

Camera Shake really makes this game pop, also I Love the colour scheme that you used, however I occasionally do get stuck at walls while trying to move.

Great Game! Love how juicy it feels, you do easily end up with a lot of money which means you can damage tank all the enemies, and the sound effects could use a bit of "Fattening" up

Thanks for the feedback :)

I think the issue is the swords holding mechanic and how it is quite poorly telegraphed due to time constraints to really show what type of attack you are doing.

Thanks for the feedback Bolt

In the current state of the game the main strategy is minimise ammo and maximise movement. That was obviously not intended, the intention was to create a dilemma for the  player between sacrificing movement or ammo but due to the game jam time restrictions (and me working on the juice and feel of the game for a bit too long in addition to me failing at making pixel art) all culminated into a game that came out not really fleshed out with a lot of bugs and apparently some forgotten colliders.  The music is a 8 bar repeating chord progression.

Fyi, at the end of the game a panel pops up which says "You Woke Up" and then the game exits which makes it seem that you were the wizard and woke up from the game.
