I had too many planned things during the weekend that took away the time i had available. Basically both weekends were booked up with prior commitments, and the only free time i had was after my already full time job. I still managed to put 56 hours into the game (Thank you steam for tracking that) This lack of time introduced some heavy crunch and caused a lot of corners and play testing to be cut.

unfortunately this is an issue with windows defender and programs created without either a prior white list from windows or a paid certificate. I ran into this issue with most non browser games this jam.

Pros:

  1. Textures and 3d models are much nicer than I would expect from a Game Jam, Very consistent art style throughout.
  2. Movement was snappy, and I liked the effect when trying to walk into an occupied space.

Cons:

  1. Walk sound effect was very loud in comparison to the rest of the game.
  2. Using the weapons was not very intuitive.

Pros:

Controls and movement felt nice, The combat was straight forward, and the art was consistently good.

Cons:

ran into a bug (Maybe?) where my sanity dropped and i got the fish eye effect, but it didn't go away when my sanity went back to 10, also couldn't pick up papers when the fish eye effect was present. also no way to close the game that I could find.

discovered this two days ago, and have spent way too much time already on this lol

only lets me put 21 steps. level 2 requires 28 steps to complete.

pretty fun, the RNG of it can get a little annoying, but thats the game. the music became annoying by level 5, not sure if its intentional or not.
