I completed the game. It's funny, the solution to the very last puzzle is the exact same as in another game in the jam although it makes sense as it's a very appropriate conclusion of this type of starting over and over again in the same but not same dungeon.
The game is fun. The UI, enemies and wall textures all look great and the game controls well with a functional inventory and point & clicking. I'm not specially fan of this (mundane) type of combat and waiting in real-time for mana to recharge but since enemies die in two hits and constant level ups mean waiting for mana to recharge is more of a rare case which is even due to the player not targetting the enemies properly rather than a norm it is alright here, especially as the visual feedback for attacking is pretty cool (for enemy attacking too).
The dungeon is pretty good, it's a very good implementation of the themes as the different parts both feel samey while being actually different, it's quite fun to solve . The narrative in notes enhances the pacing too.
I had to play the Web version as the current download version (old one when you asked in the forums for feedback worked) gives me the "black" screen and on an older pc of mine I have got two problems as the game lags and not the entire screen is displayed, the game is still playable but I can't drink potion (and can't equip the torch but have not noticed if it was important).
This is a cool entry, thanks for sharing.
