yes , of course

I am usally not a big fan of physics-based movement in platformers... BUT in this game it is executed perfectly. Climbing different shapes of terrain is really enjoyable and kinda funny. Also I liked how you used the theme. Ofcourse it is not very innovative to use different characters with special abilities but it does its job in this game very well. I would loved if you retextured this game to make it look more encouraging.

Oh, I heard that one when I played the game again a moment ago. It is good but veeery quiet

This click sound must be very quiet because I didnt even hear it. Regarding lose and win sfx I would try some pads with qick attack and long release - maybe softer and deeper  one for lose sfx (it must not annoy a player) and lighter , more euphoric one for win sfx

The mood of this game is amazing. I felt like some sort of god setting up planets' properties somewhere in the other galaxy. I think its the music what makes this game so outstanding. Too bad I cant say it obout sound effects - win/lose screen sfx feels like taken from completely different game. Also it took me very long to understand the rules of the game. I just kept trying random combinations of variables and hoped that it works. I think you could get rid of loose screen. It is just annoying, and makes restart take very long time with this whole spinning around animation. Overall good game with a few easy to fix issues.

I found out that I also need Mac to compile Mac version. And I am a bit scared of making a web version without proper optimalisation. I will inform you if i manage to make any web port

  • encountered no any bugs // EDIT: enemy AI is a bit bugged
  • nice feeling of victory after clearing a stage
  • settings menu made me laugh so that is a big +
  • i recommend not to mix different resolution graphics when making pixel art game
  • taking souls from humans mechanic was very unclear for me, I didnt see what it actually does
  • no sound effects is a big issue
  • i found short distance attacks to be completely useless as they are really dangerous for the player. You can make the distance of this attack longer, or delete it and leave just distance attack , but with quicker cooldown
  • got stuck on stage 5 - i killed all the enemies and nothing happened. I was wandering over the whole map and found nothing

so thats my feedback, congratulations you managed to finish your game. I would appreciate if you check out my game too!

The game is very polished in every aspect. Game jam games often lack sounds, tutorial or music, but here you thought about everything. Cool thing you included some skins to buy, it makes the game a bit more replayable. The game was quite hard for me as I am not good at focusing on many things at once, but It is probably it's a matter of practice. Also, shame for fake loading screen haha. If you dont mind, play my game too.

I like how you used the theme in 2 different ways here. I didnt even think of making game about ants. The art style fits very well in the whole concept. Also, I liked the music - its is quite short loop, but not such intrusive or annoying as in some of the games. The only issue are bugs (and i dont mean ants haha), I got stuck a few times and had to start over. If you dont mind, check out my game too!

Here is my game about huge Snowball that destroys everything xd

of course gonna play your soon

here is my ridiculous game about giant snowball that destroys everything...

of course i will. got 2 weeks to play it 😅

Art style and color palette feel very unique. The game is not as challenging as i thought it would be - at least till I try deathless run... good that it is optional. Also wall jump is a bit to sticky, I mean, you slide down really slow, and you cant fall off the wall by simply pressing opposite direction key. Overall , great entry with just minor issues. I would appreciate if you check out my game!

Nice to see that someone here used godot for their game (I didnt make snowball disaster with godot but i am a huge fan of that engine). I liked music and aesthetics. Shooting asteroids and those things in a shape of pigs is quite fun but i was kinda disappointed that i didnt get more spaceships to control as i progressed. I thought that at the end i will be in control of the whole fleet :( Also I didnt manage to beat the boss - it had very strange path , like, going outside the view and still shooting at me. And of course I dont know what happens after that enemy, so possibly i missed something

Shootemup mechanics are as polished and juicy as they should be - many particles, bullet upgrades and different kinds of enemies to destroy. It would be a great online multiplayer game (something like agario). The music is really good and fits in this game perfectly. I don't actually know what I didnt like about this game, maybe that its too addictive :) Don't forget to check out my game too. My score:

At first the plot made me laughed a bit (she said something like "what happened, i think my helicopter crashed", how she didnt know what happened??), but later I had a magical feeling of exploration. Too bad there are not any hidden secrets - it would be perfect for this type of game. I appreciate small details, like moving gras when I walk on it. I see you didnt make the music yourself, but anyway you chose it perfectly. Also, this game has one of the best tutorials I saw in game jam games. Don't forget to check out my game too!

I completed most levels without even using totems' powers because of the bug that let me make multiple jumps when being close to the wall. (Actually I didnt know it is a bug and didnt know that I must do something with totems haha). Of course I played the levels again after realizing that but my experience was a bit spoiled so you should fix it. Apart from that, I liked graphics a lot. You are very good at pixel art. If you don't mind, check out my game too

This game is just awesome. The graphics are beautiful (I LOVE PIXELART), gameplay is very fun, and I encountered no bugs. It is quite hard when I played it alone, but later I played it with my brother (I controlled the character, and my brother took care of blocks) and it was great experience to cooperate that way. I would appreciate if you check out my game too! Bonus screenshot: at that moment I knew I screwed up

Cool game! I think it would look better if you used consistently only pixel art graphics or only high resolution graphics - and in case of pixel art, I recommend turning off interpolation. The controls are very precise and responsive so I didnt have much problems with any level. Actually, the thing that eventually stopped me was a bug - I felt under the ground and couldnt do anything. I think it happened after I jumped on this rounded corner of terrain instead of flat ground. Here is a screenshot. Don't forget to check out my game too!

I rated your game! here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-5/rate/929323

I am stuck! send help!

It's windows. I can make a experimental mac build for you, but don't have any computer to test it...

Very good tutorial/howtoplay, I understood controls and mechanics without any problems (it's not always that obvious in other games). I didnt know what to do after deafeating a boss, there wasnt any win screen, so i kept walking and fell into a void xd. Also, the arrows are a bit bugged as they react to other arrows and stack on each other. Apart from mentioned issues, I enjoyed it.
