Conceptually I really like the game, the art seems a bit unpolished since different assets have different pixel to unit scales. Overall it's a decent puzzle game with a nice twist.

We just released a update for our submission to the Brackeys Game Jam 2020.2 improving the game a lot.

Jeam's Big Day is a unique puzzle-platforming game where you connect ropes and use them to solve physics based puzzles.

You can play it in your browser here:

All hail the mighty lord corgi!

Great game, there are only 2 things I'd change. The first would be to remove 1 of the 2 buttons you need to hit with your gun in the last level, since just getting the right angle to hit the first one is already quite fiddely. Secondly I'd add more levels since I really wanna play more of this game (post jam of course, it has the perfect length for a jam game though)!

At first I was confused why it looked like you could go back in the levels even though you don't need to, but after the money part it was like a revelation to me. Really great game and cool concept!

I greatly enjoyed the game! The only thing I'd change would be to add a camera following the player in the ski section since without it, it feels a little unfair.

Really great game! The levels are well designed and the sound effects satisfying! The movement feels a bit to fast though, making it a bit slower would enable the player to work with more precision.

Cool game! Movement feels great and shooting those butterflies feels great as well!

Great concept! At first i didn't realize that space also rewinds bullets, but after i found that out the game was a lot of fun!

Thanks for your feedback! The rope pulling speed is already adressed and we're just waiting for the jam to end so we can push the update. As for the paralax, i think you're right, gonna have to fiddle with the parameters some more.

Thank you for your feedback, we'll make sure to include keybind options after the jam period ends and try to visualize the stress of the rope better.

What a beautiful game! Just the detail in the character's hair when rewinding is already great! Everything fits so well together. The only thing I'd change is the timing of the disappearing platforms, those are quite hard to get used to sometimes, since they switch between states too fast.

Great game! Platform feels great, using the best engine for 2d, great art and good sound design! A well polished game. The only thing I'd change would be to let the camera follow the player, since the way the camera works currently creates situations, where the player has to jump down places, hoping that there's a platform below him. The transitions of the camera feel great though.

That would be a good solution post jam, thanks!

Thanks! We really appreciate it, when people take their time to play our game! We will definitely contionue to work on it after the jam period, since it was a ton of fun to create and we still have many things to improve and add.

Cool game! I really like how you can see the level played after you rewind it.

I played all 3 characters! I really enjoyed slashing the katana with the third one. I'd say something between 20 and 60  minutes would be awesome!

Yeah, the dificulty spike in level 4 is something we definitely have to adress. You can freely select any level from the main menu though, if you get stuck.

Really great game! Getting the cube to the end without being able to go back is an awesome concept!

Actually already rated it yesterday, just didn't comment.

Quite fun and interestign aproach to the theme.

Great game! I really hope that more levels will be added after the jam!

Great game! It really is one of the most creative takes on the theme i've seen so far!

I really enjoyed the game! The only issue i had is that after failing a level you have to go through the dialogue again, which makes the game feels far slower than it is.

Really great concept! I can imagine how it can become a great game with just some more polish.

Great game, it gives me some getting over it vibes! Really love the artstyle!

Really cool game, I love the sound design! A tutorial in-game would be great though.

Great artstyle! I wish there was more audio.

Great game and idea! The sound design makes it really satisfying to play!

Great Audio design and art style! I wish the game would be longer. A long story game in this setting would be great!

Great game! Really enjoyed the different mini games.

Simple yet complex! I can imagine how it would be easily possible to create some more good levels with the mechanic after the jam ends.

Thanks! The red line is something we definitely have to improve after the jam.

"That was amazingly frustrating but so much fun! " - pretty much summs up the creation of the game

Great game! Swinging on ropes is really enjoyable!

Great game! Only rewinding a selected box is a great twist on the theme!

I really like how well the levels are build around the rewind mechanic.

Great game, riccocheting bullets from wals feels great!

Great game, the mechanics create quite interesting situations. I just found it difficult to guess if i can jump on a placed point at some times.

Really great mechanic and level design!
