Sorry Bart, my planet needs me!

Thanks for sharing this, that was fun ^_^

This is really well made and fun!

My only gripe is my own bad luck - the slimes decided I did not DESERVE slime cubes and tended to drop 1 all the time.
I did love that I could mine multiple blocks at once if I hit near the edges of them.

This was fun! It took me a bit to realize I had to *pick up* the scrap from the ships.

On one playthrough the game stopped at Wave 7 and I had to restart, no idea how I did that.

Edit: Managed it again on wave 10. Both times it happened after using the "Restart" function, and both times I had taken out an enemy very close to the edge of the screen. Not sure if EITHER of those things actually contribute to the bug or not, though.

Thank you so much for playing!
I will definitely work on improving the overall incinerator feel - right now it only checks to make sure Chip isn't driving a vehicle On Area Enter, and never rechecks, so it's super fiddly >_<

Will definitely add some after the jam is over ^_^ Thank you for playing!

Thanks, and I 100% agree on all your points!
Enemies were one of the items I was furiously working on the last day of the jam, and it barely qualifies as one, but I think I have a bit better idea of the scope I can handle in 9 days now.

I'm planning to change the Body's to rotate to follow mouse movement after the game jam is over, as like you said, the combat is atrocious in its current state and I'm hoping that'll make it a lot better. That, or I'll fiddle with the movement overall.

Thank you so much for playing, I appreciate it!

Took me a while to realize the help button was multiple pages of help XD but this game was a ton of fun and I really like the graphics

This was relaxing and lots of fun to tinker with. I went full artisan on trying to make the perfect Godot head for that last guy :-)

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you liked the forging and non-lethal AI XD

Sorry for the slow reply, I really didn't know what to say, still don't really. Every time I read this comment it makes me smile. Thank you :-)

The "Zoom out when in bot" was one of the features that were planned and I just didn't make in time - I was also planning little floating icons to show what was missing on an incomplete bots so it was hopefully more obvious why it wasn't working, but I definitely over-scoped the project ^_^;;

I like the idea of just being able to drive it regardless of it's completion state better, though. Maybe a button for toggling between "Construction" and "Driveable" modes? Or have a specific spot on the forge for driving in an unfinished robot to edit it? I may have to tinker with some more features after the jam's voting is over :)

Thank you so much for playing the game!

They said it wasn't really critical since it still works in chrome based browsers, but they let me edit the bugs into the description :-) Thanks!

The enemy sprites were awesome!

Took me a second to get a hang of it, but that was a fun game ^_^

I love the quack sound XD
Spider enemies were too cute to kill.

Ran on linux, this was fun! Thanks for sharing it!

On linux: was able to follow the steps from Ross to play it
- Get Linux and Mac zip files
- extract the mac zip
- navigate into it to the resources folder (macos/The Sisyphean Chamber.app/Contents/Resources/)
 - grab the .pck file, put it with the linux file and make sure they are both named the same (I used The Sisyphean Chamber.pck and The Sisyphean Chamber.x86_64)

Fun game! I got to wave 18 with Katana, and spiderman crawling up the walls with Fists is just fun

Yep - the big green rocks were destroyable with the mining blaster, which I didn't finish including in the tutorial text - Certain Gear items have actives with Shift or Right Click (The Jet booster and the Mining Blaster)
Thank you for playing :-D

I'm excited to be able to update this again after the event is over so I can fix all the bugs that have been found lol

Super fun! Weird issue where sometimes turning left and right would flip where your legally-distinct-saber-of-lasers was facing, but I ended up playing this one a ton.

My best attempt at cheating the system was putting a dot in bottom left and top right for "Bob" and totally getting away with it.

Super well made, the music immediately pulled me in, reminded me of Firefly :D
Fun game - after playing for a bit I think space-truckin' gravity-slingin' forgin' ain't in my future, as I sent a lot of ore into the outer reaches of space XD

I had to "R" to restart more times than I'd like to admit, but I made it to the end! Thanks for posting this!

Nope, much to my chagrin I never got any of the sound into the game.
But thank you for playing :)

Sorry about that - the last 4 hours of dev time were a blur, and one of the things I was supposed to do during that blur was add more resource nodes. T_T

In case you missed it (It's unclear as I didn't finish the art assets in time) the little red Godot icon on the bottom left of the forge will incinerate things and turn them back into resources if you shove things into it.
I'll have to learn to keep my scope a bit more reasonable next time around. ^_^;;

And thank you for playing it :-D

KEYS:
Left Click or Space to fire while in robot exoskeleton.
Right Click or Shift to use Gear.
WASD or Arrows to move.
Q to drive a robot.
E to interact.

BUGS FOUND SINCE RELEASE:
- So uh, I didn't give the player enough starting resources.
After getting the Mining Blaster, you have to sacrifice your first robot exoskeleton to the Incinerator in order to get the mining blaster to get more resources.

- I forgot to add more Resource mining nodes on the map, so there are only 2 on the entire map. >_<

5 minutes after the deadline closes, the game started throwing 404's in Firefox for me.
If you hit this issue, my apologies, I don't think I'm allowed to try and fix that right now, but other browsers (Chromium tested) seem to be working.

That 3D tool sounds amazing! I can't wait to play with this update, thank you for your work on this!
