Thanks for the kind words!! <3

Watching this made me SO happy!! <3<3 Idk if its personal bias over you playing my game but I enjoyed the video a lot and think you're very entertaining! Definitely earned the like + sub :))

Very fun! The gameplay and mechanics are solid.  Animations could use some work but otherwise the game is really polished! Great work!

(P.S. The game broke when I tried to replay and I'm not sure why)

The platforming feels very janky. I don't love the parts where you have to jump up 3 or more stacked platforms to get a monkey.  The autoscrolling feature makes it really frustrating to get some of the monkeys. The I really like the sound and graphics tho!

This is really cool! I love the concept! Controls are a little janky (it often feels like you should be able to jump, even tho you can't), but everything else feels really nice! Good work!

Very fun! Love the art! The controls and audio work really well. The game feels very responsive and satisfying. Great job!

Great text adventure! Very innovative! Love the take on the theme!

Pretty cool! Controls feel very responsive.  Great job!

This is great! Very fun. Very arcade-y! Pixel art works great and I love the mechanics. It feels like it delivers very well on every mechanic introduced. Quintessential jam game!

This is so cool! Great concept. I love the story.  A lot better done than most games this jam.  I would love to see this taken further for a full release!

This made me so happy!! Thanks so much <3<3

I'm so glad someone found that :)))

Aw don't say that :(( Your game was great! I loved the music and the animations were really cool

Thanks a lot <3 I'm glad you enjoyed it! I would be really honored to win seeing as this is my first real jam tho, even in the very likely even I don't, my main problem right now is that  I'm really struggling to get ratings good or bad, and I don't really know what to do about it :((

(btw your game is awesome! loved the take on the theme and the music slaps hard)

Wow! Loved duck tape! I love your pixel art and I think the assets you made work perfectly for glitchery

Thanks for playing <3 I'm glad you enjoyed! For the shader, I had a secondary camera output to a render texture, which I then just put up on a UI image that fills the screen. Pretty primitive effect. You could definitely find better ways to do it if you looked online I bet :))

Sounds pretty complicated :)) Not sure if I follow all the way, thanks for the explanation tho <3 In any case, the effect works great! If I had t complain about one thing tho,  its that the shader makes the game very hard to play towards the end. Maybe this isn't the intended effect, but I got stuck in the maze of rooms for a good while, barely being able to discern what was on screen before I could find the ending

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed :))

Unrelated, but if you also rated my game, that would mean a whole lot to me :))

Cool platformer! Chaotic and fun. Great jam game!

Great puzzle game! Love the concept! Would definitely play a full release of this!

Also, if you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate if you tried out my game as well :))

Well, in any case, the game's pretty cool. Good job!

Very cool concept! I think that if the rockets were a bit faster and maybe bounced off the walls, it would make the game a little more chaotic and fun. Anyways,  great game, would love to see more!

Very cool! Very Spooky. Can definitely see some backrooms inspiration. Loved the pixelation shader. Wondering how you did it. I made one for my game and it turned out quite different. In any case, hope to see more :))

Very fun! Very arcade-y! I love the backing track! I just wish It got harder as time went on

Idk what you sample with your render texture, but mine doesn't work with any post processing :((

Thanks a lot :)) I have no idea what the problem is tho ;u;

Hmm... That's very weird. I haven't seen that sort of thing in any playtest so far. What machine are you running it on?

(Also thanks so much for taking the time to do this! <3)

Not to detract from what you've made but if you also tried my game, it would mean a whole lot to me :))

I tried it on mobile and it actually plays great! Just a shame the WebGl version  doesn't work :((

Hey, this is totally out of left field but it would mean a lot to me if you tried my game also

I think that's a great idea! On the subject of icons, one very easy fix you could do is make the background of the attacks and such be transparent as opposed to being black. That way, whenever your character attacks, parts of the enemy wont be covered by weird black boxes.

Thanks for playing! Thanks for the feedback! Sorry to hear that :(( Do you know if you could describe what specifically is "jerky" about it? It would help a lot.

Thanks a lot! :)) I had a lot of feedback from playtests saying the sensitivity or the volume would feel of to the player so I thought I had to budget time for that as well.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I couldn't find a great way to communicate that through game language, so for now the only visual indicator is a "[E] to sit" prompt whenever the player hovers over the correct one.  As for the audio, I thought that the track that plays whenever the music stops did a passable job of building tension, though I might have to rework that somehow. In any case, this my first real game I publish, I'm glad you enjoyed it <33

I did that as well.  The thing I don't understand is how you got that chromatic aberration around the silhouettes of objects. I assumed that was a post processing effect. Anyways, thanks for responding :))

This plays great! Graphics are well done. Keep it up!

This was really cool! Loved the art style! The interpretation of the theme is very unique

I think that's a great idea! Loved the models, just a shame it couldn't be submitted in a more complete state
