Very cool game! Fun puzzles, and a nice ramp-up in difficulty.  I did find myself wishing there were some additional controls for movement (like arrow keys) but that's a minor nit-pick. Really well done!

Really enjoyed the puzzles. The combat was a bit much for me, but not too egregious, as I did manage to get past all battles after a couple of attempts. I'm glad you always give 5 hearts and 5 arrows on every reset and with every room change, otherwise I would never have made it through. All in all, a cool game!

Thank God for the reset button :D Very cool game.  The puzzles remind me of Pokemon Golds puzzles in the ice caves (old game for Game boy color). The music was on point and I liked the graphics too. Great job!

WOoow, those dungeons are  AWESOME. You have designed a very complex and progressive world here, congratulations!! It does gets difficult but the fact that you revive in the same room makes it engaging to continue. Well done, this is a great entry, congratulations!!

I'm very bad at combat and timed puzzles. I was able to reach the boss battle, but hadn't the energy to try as many times as it would have taken me to beat it.
The puzzle part of the castle was fun.

I didn't expect to have so much fun here! Looks like a Zelda clone, but it's really more of a puzzle game where each room offers a discrete challenge using popular mechanics from the Legend of Zelda. The block pushing and fire arrow challenges were so cool and fun. Combat was a bit tougher, but I think it was very fair. I beat the final boss on my second try, the screen filled with fire and after a challenging dodge fest. Definitely a must play in this jam for puzzle fans.

I got close to the end, but was unable to beat the boss. Fighting was very difficult for me (I felt like the character froze too long making it impossible to avoid attacks). But everything else was great, not too much character building, but a bit of story building. Overall nice game!

This is probably my favorite entry so far. Primarily a puzzle game with some light combat/timing elements - imagine a Zelda game but with the ratio of fighting to puzzles inverted. The developer really nailed the puzzle side of this title; each stage introduces a new mechanic, first simply, then iterating on what you learned from the previous rooms, leading to a couple that really take thought. However, none of them feel cheap or like they were made uneccessarily complex to pad out the game time (which took me a satisfying half hour to beat)

Perhaps ironically, my favorite parts of the game was the fighting, used as a mechanic in one of the four stages and for the boss. The combat is designed in such a way that you can use the attacks and positioning logic of the enemies to create crossfires where they damage each other - or, you can rush in and brute force through them. This led to these encounters still matching the puzzle game feel, but with a degree of nonlinear solution that you can't normally get in a traditional puzzle scenario. Very well done

It's worth mentioning that all of this is done with an extremely elegant control system: 4-way WASD movement and two interaction buttons.  Both main buttons serve dual purpose as attacks and puzzle-piece movers. There is a third button (a dodge) but I wound up never needing to use it, and the arrow keys are optional time-savers except in a couple must-use cases. There is a very fine degree of attention that was paid to building the character controller - input delays on the buttons are just right, if you hold a direction while pushing an object you'll continue to slide after it without having to lift and repress the direction input, and the use of the keyboard to incorporate the arrow keys for the occasions where precise control of facing was a good decision, I believe. This could easily incorporate a gamepad control scheme with a dpad, the four thumb buttons are the arrow keys, and triggers/bumpers for the main buttons

Other than the cut scenes, the graphics of the game work just fine, although I would say the music isn't the best fit.  These are minor issues compared to the very engaging and polished experience present in Castle Colossus. I salute this developer - great work!

Very cool mechanics and intuitive puzzles. Battling feels a little overwhelming in the stages with lots of enemies. This is super well put together and very nostalgic design. Nice entry!

I'm surprised this doesn't have more ratings yet, the puzzles in this are really innovative! I could definitely play a full release of just puzzles done in this format!
