I really liked it, gave off an unsettling feeling. I had fun exploring the first room, but the second part of the game kind of feels rushed as the keys are just handed to you, but i suppose it was due to time constraints.  Had fun!

I loved it, the sound effects for the fish are really satisfying. I found it a bit too hard however, as getting past 1500 seems pretty rng-based, or maybe i'm just that bad. Really good work!

I enjoyed the mechanics, shame you didn't finish it in time, i'd love to play more of it if you continue working on this!

The pause menu is from the PICO-8 interface, it lists the available buttons but the game does not include multiplayer! Thank you for your feedback!

Apart from the very cute artstyle, i found the mechanics to be very enjoyable and had a great time playing.  With some more types of cards and an element of randomness this could get even better, but i understand the limitations of time don't allow for much. Great work!

The blowfish is just adorable, i love it! I think some random obstacles would be a good idea

Nice visuals! I think the no-shooting mode is surely more fun!

I liked the story, the multiple levels were a good incentive to keep playing!, felt nostalgic. It felt  bit clunky with the controls at times, especially on the diving level. I think i enjoyed the last one the most!

Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you! One life only hard mode doesn't sound like a bad idea!

Thank you very much. You make a good point about the difficulty, maybe in the future!

Nice artstyle, and i like the theme of the game. The controls felt a bit off at times, but i really liked the dash mechanic in this game

Very addictive! The controls take some getting used to, but you end up having to make cool movements to kill the ufos. One thing i'd note is that maybe the enemies are a bit hard to hit, maybe they should be a bit bigger

Great concept, nice puzzles (maybe a bit too hard?). Loved the visuals

I like the sprites and the idea has some nice potential for an arcade game. However the player warping through the screen along with the unpredictable collisions makes you lose your player a lot of the time

Nice presentation, it's pretty addictive! I feel like the shop upgrades are not really noticeable though

I see we had more or less the same idea! Really fun and well done, the presentation and UIs/Menus are great! I really loved the water ripple effect

That was precisely the idea! I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thank you very much!

I'm using PICO-8 to develop my game and even though i can make the sprites myself, my results aren't really what I would like. Would anyone like to give me  a hand with the art?  On a sidenote: is any one else using PICO-8 for the jam? Out of curiosity

300 in 8! I spammed odd and kept winning after some turns, is it a coincidence or just very lucky? :P
