Nice art and feel! It took me a second to realize the enemies had certain patterns but once i did it gave another level to the gameplay! Would love to see more cards/enemies!

Good idea, it’s a shame that you ran out of time.

cool art & feel polished, don’t think it was very innovative tho

Apart from the very cute artstyle, i found the mechanics to be very enjoyable and had a great time playing.  With some more types of cards and an element of randomness this could get even better, but i understand the limitations of time don't allow for much. Great work!

Very fun and surprisingly deep for a jam game!

Cool idea and fun execution, the art looks great. Although a short tutorial would have been nice, I know they're not the best part of game development haha.

Card games are great <3

This mechanic definitely had me scratching my head. If it somehow allows you to change decks or has more enemies, I will definitely be up all night playing this game!

About this version.

I completed the game on my first playthrough without taking a single damage, so I was fine with a more challenging difficulty level.

Basically, a simple strategy worked for me: resupply as needed, and whenever you can attack, prioritize and keep shooting until you take them down. I think this can be solved with more enemies and more cards.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this game, and I'm looking forward to playing it again. Thanks!

Thank you for playing! I can imagine the difficulty being too easy tbh didnt give much time to balance, I wanted to add deck building but that was too much scope for the jam haha. Thanks for the feedback!

Ah, you and your card games. I should be working but no, here I am shooting at fish. Really cool mechanics and art (as usual), and very engaging stages. Keep 'em coming!

Thank you very much! I do like me my card games haha

Amazing job! I love Card games and this sort of fusion between one step from eden and slay the spire is super fun! My main strategy was to stack movements and bullets and then throw snipers aim, or just wait for a good card rotation, also loved the concept and the charismatic main char!

Thanks for playing and the kind words! slay the spire + one step from eden is a good analogy tbh. I have decent hours on both of those so maybe that was subconsciously the inspirations!
