yes, that's what I was referring to, although I can't think of suggestions to improve it. I'm sure you'll figure something out though!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll address some of your points, but not to push back on them, they are all valid!

I tried to make the upgrade screen non-interactive with a "fade in" delay, but I agree that the delay is probably not long enough - especially using a mouse it's easy to still accidentally select something.

Balanced Blade is indeed bugged at the moment. I unfortunately didn't discover this until after submitting, but I do intend to do a slightly more polished version at some point, while leaving the "bootcamp" version up for posterity

You also indeed discovered a bug that only happens if you make it to the final arena and restart

Lastly, your advice about telegraphing attacks in on-point, and in line with notes I had made for myself. If/when I continue to polish this those are certainly things i plan to address.

This game is obviously pretty well polished from an audio, visual, and gameplay standpoint. It seems like a lot of fun and I think it could definitely find an audence. The only point of feedback I'll make is that I was sometimes confused by the way text prompts popped up, and the control bindings felt a little unintuitive to me leading me to do the wrong thing a few times. If I had spent more time with the game I suspect I would get used to it.

Great concept, and the audio and visuals lend themselves nicely to it! I might suggest either slightly increasing the card values, or finding another way to balance haggling because if you fail to haggle on a card with value of 1 it goes to 0. But if you succeed in haggling the second time it stays at 0.

This is a good start, I only have two notes. The speed, acceleration, and deceleration could be tightened up, as I was finding it a little bit difficult to land jumps on single-block platforms. In the second area it start with a goblin stabbing me in the back. Any scene/area transition should leave you in a safe spot in case you blink or look away. Otherwise it was fun!

The audio and visuals are great, and the concept is really neat. It could definitely use some tuning up on input handling as grabbing and double jumping repeatedly failed when they felt like they should have worked. Also there were a couple situations where you have to jump onto something that is obstructed from view. It may have been intentional but I found it somewhat frustrating. I also think that the concepts of what the red/blue orbs and black cube areas do should probably be introduced in isolation and presented very simply. I never had more than a vague understanding of what was going on.

The visuals and sound are nice, and everything is intuitive. I would only maybe have hoped for the upgrades to be slightly more frequent. Good job!

Hey, I made this game a few years ago that's about helping someone on the margins of society and who you occasionally have to work to understand. I'd appreciate it if it could be added.
