Thanks for taking time to try out our game. Glad you liked the game and visuals. Yea as of now, not much strategy is required but it'll definitely change if we decide to make it into a proper game. If you have any suggestions on how to make the gameplay more interesting I'd love to hear them out. Really appreciate the words of encouragement ^^

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Glad you had fun playing our game. Some visual indicators would definitely be a nice addition. Right now the units kinda have different stats but I guess they are a bit easy to miss. Would definitely work on it. Making the Player/Hero character more interesting and scaling difficulty to it is also a nice idea. Thank you for taking time to help us out. Those were some great suggestions. Really appreciate it :)

Amazing suggestions. I didn't think about having multiple heroes before. This could turn into an interesting gameplay element. Some player units might be strong against some specific hero but weak against other hero and vice versa, so the player will have to utilize the troops wisely. And upgrading our units would also be a great addition. Thanks a lot for taking time to help us out. Greatly appreciated :)

Nice suggestions. Some diverse units with upgrades would provide for some quite interesting gameplay and will definitely increase replayability. I also quite like the idea for advanced units to be locked in the beginning but would be available as the battle progresses. And you're right just sticking to chess pieces might end up being in the way of having diverse units. Thanks for taking time to help us out and for the words of encouragement :)

The line drawing mechanic looks quite interesting. I'm imagining it might end up being quite a fun element. Traps and turrets could also be a nice addition. Thanks for taking time to help us out man. And brother I gotta appreciate your enthusiasm for helping us out, you went ahead and even created a mockup. Really appreciate that my guy, it clarified the line-drawing mechanic quite nicely. Thanks again for your efforts and for helping us out :)

Ah yes, the enemy for sure needs a reason to attack, something that we completely overlooked ":D Having something to defend seems like a nice idea. Guess we gotta borrow some elements from the tower-defense genre. Diverse player units with upgrades for both player units and enemy would be a great addition. "Lots of bullets." Love the sound of that :D Multiple maps would be a great addition as well. The suggestion about income generation is also interesting, I'm thinking there should be some more factors affecting it along with the ones you mentioned. Thanks a lot for all the great suggestions. Really appreciate it :)

Great ideas man. The traps/bait would definitely provide the players to come up with some interesting strategies to take down the enemy. The minimap would be quite helpful. Also love the idea of having a commander which gives temporary control over the troops. I was thinking of giving player some control over troops but it might've definitely turned the game into an rts lol. Commander would be a great alternative.  Thanks for the heads up about not turning it into an rts. And thanks for taking time to help us out. Really appreciate it.

Nice suggestions. Free camera is definitely something that'd be a lot of help in the gameplay, with arrows indicating both our troops and the enemy. Having waves/rounds with diverse upgrades both for player units and enemy will definitely work in favor of the roguelite nature of the game and will increase replayability. Thanks a lot for taking time to help us out.

Glad you liked the game and thank you for the words of encouragement. I really like the suggestion. You got some more ideas on how to improve the deisgn or gameplay? I'd love to hear em out.

Thankyou for the feedback :)

Thanks man. Glad you liked the game and visuals. Thank you for the feedback :)

Duddee those are some cool ideas. I'd definitely consider adding them in if the game goes beyond prototyping stage. Having unique abilities for each unit was a part of our early development plan but we couldn't get to it in time. Do you have other ideas or stuff you wanna see implemented in the game if it were to go beyond the prototyping stage?

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Gameplay most definitely is a weak point here along with balancing and replayability. We will definitely work on it if we decide to make it into a full game. Do you have some other improvements in mind or stuff you wanna see added to the game?

Thank you for the feedback :)

Thank you for trying out our game and for the feedback. Glad you liked it :)

Thank you. I agree, a lot of improvements and polishing is required. Thanks for the words of encouragement and for the feedback :)

Lmaooo may god have mercy on the poor vampire because you definitely won't xD Glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for the feedback :)

You are a born vampire hunter. Are you sure you don't turn into some kinda furry being on the night of full moon? XD

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks. Yup Queen is definitely OP, a lot of balancing is required. Also thank you for the advise about using point filter. UI isn't my strong suit so I greatly appreciate the advice. Do you have other stuff in mind that can be improved here?

Thank you for the feedback btw :)

Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Seems like you gave the vampire a run for his money XD

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thank you. Glad you liked our game and visuals :)

Thank you :)

First of all the music was quite nice. The color scheme was also quite cool. Art is also pretty nice. Is it hand-drawn? As for the gameplay, overall it's pretty enjoyable. However, it seems like the heroes keep getting stronger with each wave while the Boss character remains at the same level so death is inevitable. Would be nice if we could upgrade our characters and abilities. Overall pretty nice game :)

Thank you! We were kinda going for billboarding with 2D pixel sprites in 3D world. The art could definitely be improved and we will for sure if we were to make it into a full game. I'm glad you liked and hey I'm a chess fanboy as well ;)

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Thank you! Glad you liked the game. I'd love to know if you got any ideas on what kinda content you wanna see added to the game.

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Glad you liked the game. And sure, I'll check out your game as well. Thank you for the feedback :

Great work ^^

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Really means a lot. Actually some meta progress was part of our early game plan but couldn't get to it in time. It will surely be implemented if we ever decide to turn it into a full game. Do you have any ideas on how to increase the complexity or other stuff you'd like to see implemented in the game?

Thanks for the feedback :)

Glad you liked the game and visuals. Yea I agree the game doesn't provide much of a challenge as of now. But that could be changed in the future. If you got any ideas on how to make it more challenging then I'd love to hear it.

Thanks you for the feedback :)

Thank you for playing the game. Those are some pretty nice suggestions. Enemy kinda fights back but looks like it doesn't seem quite obvious. If you got time I'd like to know what other stuff you'd like to see in the game if we decide to turn it into a full game?

Thanks for the feedback :)

Glad you enjoyed the game and congrats on beating it :D And yea the state the game is in right now, it's quite hard to lose. The chess pieces currently have only 3 attributes namely health, attack and speed. The costly the chess piece, the higher the stats. Thanks for the suggestion about camera. Say, what other stuff would you like to see added in the game if we ever decide to turn it into a full game?

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Glad you liked it. Some balancing is definitely required.  That's a great suggestion btw, would definitely consider it if we ever decide to turn it into a full game. What other stuff would you like to see implemented in the game if we turn it into a full game?

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

I'm glad you liked the game and the visuals. And 2 Queens is by far my preferred way to win as well XD

Thanks for the feedback :)

Glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for the suggestion and feedback :)

Thank you. Would definitely make it into a full game if enough people want it ^^

Thank you! And hero kinda fights back but yea it doesn't "seem" like he is ":D Thanks for the timer suggestion and for the feedback :)

Upgrades were part of our early plan but couldn't be implemented within the given time. If we ever decide to rework this idea into a proper game, the progression would definitely be a part of it. Do you have any other suggestions or ideas you'd like to see implemented if we turn turn it into a full game? Oh and I'm glad you like our game and art style.

Thank you for the feedback :)

Thank youu. Glad you liked it ^^

Thank you :)

Thank youu. Yup one major flaw was that the plan kinda was out of the scope for a 48 hours game jam, so a lot of features and mechanics couldn't be implemented.  But hey, it'd be a nice reminder for future jams to keep the scope in check "^^

Thanks for the feedback btw :)

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^

Thanks, glad you liked it. And yup balancing requires some attention ":D Thanks for the feedback :)
