Hey, thank you for the feedback! I believe we're going to be releasing some updates soon to make the game more in line with what we wanted and would have done if given more time. The choppiness is likely an optimization thing, it seems to happen on all systems, even with my 3080. This should be fixed up in updates as well.

Hello! I'm a game writer and narrative designer looking for a team to work with on this game jam. I've been a writer since around 2012 within largely sci-fi and fantasy, but branching out and trying out new genres is one of my favorite things to do! I have experience working in Unreal Engine 5 and Twine.

Thank you for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! Since this was my first ever published game, there are a lot of things I've learned during the process and since. That message idea is fantastic and I'll absolutely implement that if I decide to continue working on the game.
That collision issue is interesting, I hadn't had that in testing the uploaded build, but I definitely had it while I was building and implementing the idea. I've had someone report that they had the "death" screen just permanently on screen which is a weird problem that I encountered once. Seems like something in the blueprints can sometimes get funky.
Hello, good people of itch.io, I seem to be having a very under-reported error when trying to submit my game to a game jam. I made this game specifically for the game jam, but I get an error saying "game_id must be an integer" every time I try to submit it.
What I've tried so far: uploading as a .zip, uploading as a .rar, refreshing the game jam page after uploading my game, creating a new game page, closing and reopening my browser. Nothing has changed the error. If anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear them!
For what it's worth, it's an Unreal Engine game.
