Yep, some of those colliders are unforgiving. reminds me of the good ole' NES days!
Thanks for your comment.

Thanks! it's an ode to the OG hard platformer, Megaman. What's better than one megaman explosion??? TWO!!

Thank you thank you. There's penty I would/will change though! a couple of bug fixes and qol updates for the itch version, and then I might add mobile controls and toss an expanded version in the app/play stores

never heard of it! Googling it helped. It's cool, but it seems like it's a 2 player puzzle platformer? I'll check it out

(1 edit)

You don't see how having a second game being played under the surface of the other one relates to under the surface?or how a fire character in a hot world and an ice cube in a cold world relate to hot and cold? All with a dark cold color and the brightest color that can exist to represent hot and cold?

You're right, I'll try harder next time.

Thank you thank you. I already implemented the faster restart and also a death counter and leaderboard.  I'm just afraid to update it on itch during judging. lol
I had never heard of that game. Although the controls look different for each hand, I've seen many games that do that with separate controls, single controls for 2 characters are new to me so I decided to make it.

I don't think I ever played a story based fishing game before. Really kept me engaged the whole way through!

Some of the most satisfying shooting I've ever seen! great job

Love your art! Wish it was a web build, but its very coy

Your pixel art is top notch! Great work!

Suggestions:
Visual recoil/feedback when enemies are hit by projectiles.
visual representation of weapon cooldown, so you know when you can shoot.
a bit less abrupt ending!

Fun game! had a ball! it was on a roll

This game is super cute and well made! love your pixel art!
So much better than mine!

This game is waaaay more fun than it should be

I really liked your game! Especially the art. I hope you'll continue developing it after the jam!

Question: I noticed you used Godot, but I couldn't get the web export to run in a properly scaled window like you did, Most other godot games didn't either. What export/project/itch settings did you use?

I didn't think anyone would actually finish it! good job!

Thats exactly how I felt about your submission too! lol

You know I think I might!
I'm also thinking of adding mobile controls and app-storing it

Thanks man!
I've actually heard all3 suggestions before, and I will implement them, but I was afraid of updating the game while the jam is active lol.
