Thanks for the feedback! I'm not making any promises, but I am quite fond of what I've made here and kinda want to keep working on it for sure. Good points about the vague-ness. I was trying to keep things sort of ambiguous when setting up the report structure because I didn't want to trap myself in if I ended up changing things. But now that I have a little bit of perspective and the story concept is fleshed out, I am able to actually go back and edit more.

Thanks for playing!

You're meant to submit one of the suggestions (1, 2, 3...) given in the reports, which leads you through the story. It will drop the next report after a few seconds. You go through the story and find the different endings to complete the game.

Completely fair about the game jam game stuff. I haven't been expecting many, if any, full playthroughs for those reasons plus it being downloadable only (had some trouble getting some things to work correctly in browser). There were some corners I had to cut as far as polish and cohesion to meet the deadline (camera controls, more interactive-ness), but that's pretty par for the course in jams. I was a little disappointed about that though because I love SCP so much and I wanted to do it justice.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the writing. It was a bit hellish going through and editing/formatting all those reports lol.

Hello! I honestly can't give a good estimate, but I would guess 20min - 45min for a 100% playthrough? I haven't had anybody other than me test it all the way through so it's hard to tell :)

Thank you for playing!

Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, I didn't have time to make as many levels as I would have liked. I definitely would have focused more on stretching out the progression given more time, but I wanted to at least have a couple levels in there that showed the direction i wanted to go further down the line.

Thanks for the review!

Thank you for playing! Yeah, if there's one thing I wish I could've squeezed in before the jam ended it would be some difficulty settings. I tried my best to find a happy medium in that regard, as I didn't want it to be too easy. Thanks for the kind words, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing! We're glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you for playing, and for the kind words! The art is from an asset pack, but some of the assets were altered to fit our needs. @84d93r was dealing with all the art, and he did a really good job designing the visuals.

Some kind of tutorial is just another feature we didn't get time to add. I tried to explain the best I could in the Game Page description. We're glad you stuck with it though, and ended up enjoying it!

I used the Navigation node for the pathfinding, and a script for the behavior that's instanced on each NPC. I just didn't have time to really get in there and polish it.

lol the music was just the first thing i found that felt kind of urgent. The pathfinding turned out to be a bigger project than anticipated. Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I really wish I had more time to work on the pathfinding. This ended up a bigger project than I was anticipating lol. Thanks for playing!

Dang, sorry about that :(

Sorry about that! Did you try the "Surrounded_***_LoFi.zip"?

Yeah, UI and sound design are my two weakest points in game dev, which this jam made glaringly clear lol. Thanks for playing!

Pretty fun game. I think it's really satisfying to draw the lines. I made it to 60 by maintaining simple paths between each organ and the heart.  I also made it to 72, but I feel like I kinda cheated because I just filled in everything. But this also had the consequence of not every organ making it to the heart (im guessing due to pathfinding?).

I like it though. It's challenging and pretty unique!

The only issue I encountered was when I pushed a block against the wall and couldn't get it off lol. But that's on me I suppose.

Pretty good game, I didn't encounter any bugs or anything, which was really nice. The art was cute, and the heart switching mechanic was cool. Great job!

I love the idea of the heart throwing mechanic. The first couple puzzles were a good introduction to the mechanic. I would love to see it taken to the next level with more complicated problems to solve!

There was a very noticeable graphical bug that caused some clipping/flickering, but other than that, this game looks (and sounds) very polished.

The combat and movement in this was pretty satisfying, and I loved the aesthetic of the art style. After a while the worms really started piling up and caused some massive frame drops when I would slash at the big mob. Dunno if it was the drops spawning in or what.

Overall very good, though. I played through a couple of times. :)

Thanks for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)

Yeah, the max is 20. Mostly because I got tired of hand placing spawn points lol. Thanks for playing :)

I've exported a separate project with lower graphics settings. Give "Surrounded_Windows_LoFi.zip" a try.

Certainly. I'll get on that.
