Hey there! I’m so happy to hear that you loved my game and assets enough to be inspired to create your own game. It means a lot to see my work spark creativity in others!

I absolutely love the direction you are taking the game. The extra mechanisms add so much to the experience and you did a great job adding in new assets that fit the original while also bringing a uniqueness and polished feel, amazing work!

Best of luck with your game and happy holidays!🎄

Hey! I’ve never been on a team for a game jam, but am interested! Let me know if you still need a team, discord: william_billiam

Good idea is great, but needs a tutorial or crafting guide. I figured out how to craft the play station (i think that’s what it is) hammer the metal then hammer the circuit board with the hammered metal. Keep up the good work!

I like the overhead view of dropping presents! The controls were easy to understand and the sprites for the destruction of the anvil falling through the roof or hitting the ground was fun. Something you could add in the future would be some type of score, and perhaps the chimneys/houses could be more random. Overall it’s a great game jam game!

Really great music, intuitive game, and very polished! I was hoping for more levels by the end!

Tis the life of an elf

I love the cat animations, and appreciate the 8 directional animations for the white kitty! The story was also very cute!

This was a fun game, quick to pickup and understand! I liked how you used anvils to influence the path the elves would take. The art was also nice!

Clicking with two fingers allowed me to forge on touch screen. It’s a fun mobile game!

score: 138! I love when physics are used in games whenever possible. Balancing the blocks is fun as well as throwing the presents to redeem points. This also happens to work well on touch screen!

Santa wouldn’t be disappointed lol, that’s still a great time! Thanks for playing!

Glad you liked it! I was going to add multiple levels and incorporate the grab/throw mechanism more but was running out of motivation and time lol.

score: 680 lvl 11!

This is a fun game! I love the backstory of the elves taking charge while also cleaning shop by delivering anvils as presents, two penguins with one snowball lol.

One suggestion would be to make sure the chimney colliders are accurate because they seemed to be inconsistent as I was zoom’n across the screen

This is a great game! The visuals are good and has good character animation. The character movement feels nice too. The theme fits well and the use of the anvil to craft more platforms is creative.

Suggestions: create more distinct areas to complete so that you feel you are progressing more as you go through the game. Also, I’d prefer to use one button to throw and call back the platforms.

Overall a fun game with a creative use of the special object!

The stories were fun to read through and you had great visuals/animations to go along with it, great game!

Great game! It was very intuitive and simple to play with great music, sound effects, and art! A leaderboard is also always awesome to have, how did you implement that so quickly?

Feedback/suggestions: it wasn’t always obvious when a present was missed and a life was lost. Maybe use louder damage sounds or screen shakes or screen flash?

This was a fun little game to play! I saw you used a homebrewed WebGL engine, that’s so cool! I’ve been interested in learning WebGL and making my own engine too. Do you have any resources you can share that helped you?

Thanks for playing! I’m glad you recognized that those few pixels were supposed to be a bow after the first wrap lol. Your completion time of 3:10 is also really good! However, Santa’s Elite Squad of Master Elves can wrap and deliver all gifts under 2 minutes. Do you accept this challenge?

This is a great game! It fits the theme, has a nice art style, and a good game mechanic of keeping your charge. Although, I think the movement is too slippery, definitely needs some friction. Overall, this is a perfect little game for this game jam. It seemed to be have a perfectly sized scope and you were so close to staying in the time limit! Good Job!

This game was very satisfying, seeing the clean pathways left by the robot. I agree with @NANIkisunami about the pickup sound being to repetitive. One thing that I think would add a little bit more to the game would be adding simple shapes in to fill the room and make it feel more lived it. Other than that, the controls for the robot felt very good as well.

This is a good game, fits the theme well, and is quite satisfying. Well done!

I really loved how well everything in this game fits together… literally! The music and sound effects are simple but very charming. The game feels very polished. I like the extra animation/wiggle on all the pieces making the game feel less static then it is. And even just having an animated cursor adds a lot to the over all feel of the game. My favorite thing about the game is definingly the audio/sound effects! If I had to change one thing, it would be to edit or replace the animation between levels. Having an animation at all is definitely good, but personally I just didn’t like zooming in on the pixels and seeing everything get low quality.

Very good game and in the 3h time limit is impressive!

Hey thanks for playing, I am working on a score system now as well as trying to squeeze in some other things when I find the time.
