Very clean UI and effects! Variable jump might be something to look into if you think it'll make the game smoother, but a fixed jump adds some of that challenge that I like, so up to you! Here is a link: 

Definitely a better visual cue for the change would be better, but I don't know if I agree with showing the control changes. Part of the challenge is deciding whether you can make it those extra 3 seconds before the controls switch, or if you want to play it safe and wait. Perhaps an easy/hard mode, but we'll see once we make our other changes. Thanks for your feedback! 

Our artists are talented, aren't they! Since we passed the threshold, we'll let other projects get the votes they need. Thanks for helping us across the finish line! We'll hopefully clean up the game so it is controlled chaos instead.

SFX for the jumping is a good idea! Maybe we'll do some funny voice acting for that if we revisit the game. Finding that balance with background distraction is indeed important. Any suggestions? Perhaps making assets smaller/bigger?

This game reminds me of those old arcade games! Definitely a very simple concept done well!

Dada Dash is a two player VS platformer. Our game fits the theme of this year's game jam by filling out the main requirements of chaos "Complete disorder and confusion". We fill this theme by having our art style being DaDa! Dada is a very confusing and chaotic art style to most who look at it. We also add to the confusion factor by having our controls switch every 30 to 60 seconds having you on your toes and a bunch of other little gimmicks that you will just have to find out by playing our game

Glad that you liked it! If we ever revisit the game, motion sickness will probably be the first thing we tackle while maintaining the chaos. Good luck to you!

The game has a fun design! I think one thing that would really help the game is implementing this version of a jump, linked below. It will really make the game feel smoother. Also, the gravity feels a little strong, so maybe reducing that would be nice. I like the art style and sound!

Limited slo-mo might help to make the game a little more interesting. Think the chaos needs to really hit earlier in the game
