Game has been soft locked since v0.3.31.0. Clicking the load option on the Main Menu continues to cause the game to crash.

My save was fine until update v0.3.31.0, which I updated the same way as I always do, download the zip file and then replace the old version's files with the new. That is when the "Load" option on the Main Menu became the "Crash the game" option.
I was able to "Continue" (loads the most recent save) from the Main Menu in v0.3.31.0, but when I hit a Game Over scenario it overwrote my Quick Save with an Auto save and has locked me out of the saves I have in the "Load" section.

And before you ask yes my saves are still in the saves folder after I replaced the other files. I've been able to view them as files on my computer but not in game because of the crash that occurs when trying to open that screen.

I could probably go back to a previous version of the game but that does not fix the issues I'm having with this version.

I also posted in the  v0.3.31.0 update comments what the crash error message said to do. It seems to be some error reading something or other. I'm no programmer.

That's wishful thinking. I made a comment on the first day of the last update about this issue and it hasn't been fixed yet so. ~shrugs~

"Load" option in the main menu still crashes the game.

The game is basically soft locked because of this and the only way to play is if I start a new game.

I know this is the free version but what happened?

This update broke the Load option on the main menu and causes an Error. Basically making the game unplayable now because I got a "game over" end and now cannot reload my quick save...

Best part is in the Error it says a file was created and can be found in the saved data folder which  can be accessed easiest through the save/load page which as explained isn't an option anymore. Fun.

Anyway I got into the save file area and this seems to be the problem?

Too bad it'll be another month before it's available from here. They've been behind their version updates for close to a year now and for some reason won't fix it.

Update says v0.3.29.0 but it's actually v0.3.28.0.

I'm wrong. It appears they have corrected this at some point recently.

That doesn't make any sense? I know about the accidental release but I still don't see how that would be a reason to keep the changelog a full month behind the version of that's available.

The difference between the Itch.io and Patreon versions is mainly the Story mode. They're only a few patches ahead of free players. (Currently 3.21.2)  So I don't see how as Itch.io users and not having access to the story mode we could do any extra "testing" that hasn't already been done?

It's been going on for a few patches now but these devlog notes have been behind for the public builds that have been coming out. A few of the things in this devlog have been available since the last upload (v0.3.19.0) of the public version of the game.

Specifically things like the mimic and her pervert screen addition, the Brothel Madame x Gadgeteer, the Wasp Anal art and scene extensions.

I'm not sure if you're trying to make these things feel "organic" for a month and then revealing the things that were added to go back and check things off or if this has just been a mistake.

It can be a bit of a problem if you're new to the game. Reminder though that you should be getting +42 fullness/food whenever you rest at an Inn for 10 gold.

You can drink from the Elf Pond so that every visit after will provide food.

"Harpies Flocking" will lead to stealing Eggs for food.

"Ettin Sleeping" encounters will also lead to large amounts of food.

There's ways to keep yourself full.

You could also look into editing the Json files and give yourself 1m food.

Let me guess! You used the carriages to fast travel to the Outpost but in order for you to go to the Outpost you had to go back a space which is the Dark Knight? Yea you're quite literally fucked and have no choice but to start over.

Unfortunately until they decide that the Outpost gets a "street view" like Silajam or Monsters you won't be able to click on the little house icon after you depart/arrive at the location.

On a side note we could also really use a fast travel to the other areas as well after we've already been there. Going all the way to the Demon king area gets fairly annoying. It'd be nice to be able to fast travel to the Post office that's right there at the start Let us use carriages or the portal spell that we're allowed to learn.

Could you enlighten the rest of us? It's driving me nuts.

Never mind I was stuck in the Temple area because I entered through the Exit.

No. Can not find how to do the Goblin part of the quest. Have checked Male, Female, Horde, Ambush (sleeping) and Date encounters. No options to present Kylira.

Best way to increase lust outside of an encounter is to use the Anal Beads. Inserting and removing repeatedly will slowly increase your Lust. This allows the next scene to be premature.

>Added Town Portal Spell!

THANK YOU.

Their discord is exclusive to Patrons.

In the town of Monsters there is a Store where you can buy an Anti curse Scroll. There should be one available at the Witch's Cottage as well.

Yea. In order to recruit her you need Magic 6 to reverse her suggestion spell and a high charisma (like 8-9?).  I believe that's how you get her to follow. It's been awhile since I've done it.

And yes each area has some unique characters to meet and again there are some "hidden" ones that require certain things to happen. Another example of a hidden one is Lupa. She's unlocked after helping the brothel madam with all of her quests.

The Bunny character is only randomly encountered when you're indebted to the bank in the first town and have your debt increase a few times.

Think it's meant for a future update. They maybe be trying to balance it or work out some kinks.

Kylira ( the other one character who travel with turtle), Trudy, Urka and the Warlock  ( Dark Wizzard from second town) are the current available companions.

Dullhan is a planned companion if there are to be more you'll just have to wait and see.

Vampires 1 of the art pieces is completing the Vampire Hunters quest. Which is buying a Cod piece at the Outpost for 100g and bringing it back to her. Another piece of Art for the Vamps is either losing or defeating them in their third fight. Losing or defeating them will determine how the scene plays out.

Some of the characters can only be seen by doing certain things or going certain places. Example the Unicorn is only visible if you go to a space that has Centaurs and you're an Anal virgin. There are also other areas to visit like past the Outpost or "North" of the Alter spawn.

"Persephone and other girl are the same scene, and you get it from beating them in all three of their phases with violence [not lust] which was tough even for the level 11 maxed file I had [I had to cheat my health back to 100% twice so bring potions]"

Ok so I've done this and it unlocks the third art for P/H but what needs to be done for the second? In the pervert screen for P/H It's "Normal" "______" "Anal" "on Hunter" I lost the third fight and won the third fight both resulted in the same art (Anal) but had different scenes.

She's in the area past the Outpost. The place with the Ghost Manor, Catgirl and Horny Brigand encounters. For me she was pretty deep into the area but I think that was just RNG where her "token" spawned.

I don't know what it's like on phone(?) I guess but on PC you hold the skip button with a mouse click. It doesn't lock in to never be stopped. Also we were talking about repeat encounters. If you're skipping first time encounters on an Ironman run that's kind of on you.

I mean there is a reason that there's a skip button when you're in encounters. They just haven't gotten around to ALL the branching paths that they're building for this game. There's an option to have your penis removed by the Warlock but most encounters/scenes won't even mention it. The game is still a Beta and I would agree there's quite a bit of work to be done before it's considered a complete game. With that said it is very promising and based on what they've shown could be vastly expanded. Different areas, Monsters, encounters, debauchery. I think they could use more people on their team but that requires money so who knows how long it'll be.

Yea. Personally think the game should still be in alpha maybe until the game part is more fleshed out? There's things like you mentioned that should be implemented as well as displaying what the stat increases for items are when you're spending Soul Crystals. I've been liking the direction it's going though. Choices for encounters in Adult games are always a big PLUS.

(1 edit)

That's... kind of annoying. It should also be available if you have the spell intoxicate but maybe that's just my opinion.
Edit: For those wondering it took having 3 "Wine" in inventory for the option to be chosen and strangely enough does not consume the wine after the encounter.

Have you gotten the Brigand encounter with alcohol to work? Says the requirements are free cock and alcohol and I got both but the option is still greyed out.

Yes. You need to be careful but it's doable.

A giant having their way with you is what increases your ranking for size queen. I'm fairly certain that getting to rank 3 causes a game over though so be sure to save before hand.

All of those scenes should be available after you loot the cave at the end of the Verdant Valley. If you are not prompted with choices after exiting the cave you'll need to start a new character. Older save files don't properly work with the newer updates.

I don't think that's the Goblin Eggs. It sounds like the Tiara of Control that you can buy from the Witch. It's a cursed item that you'll need an Anti-curse scroll for.

It's says directly in the patch notes that it's located in the town of Monsters... If you're new to the game though, then you probably don't know that new updates don't always function well with older save files. In other words you'll more than likely have to create a new Hiro in order to experience things that are in later updates.

I can no longer "Maximize" or "Restore down" the game on Windows. Have to change the resolution size or select full screen.

Not going to lie, I'm already missing the old UI quite a bit. It was simple and easy to read. If you're going to change the colors of something that's supposed to have text on top you need to use contrasting colors, so that the numbers "pop" and are easily read. That was the whole reason you added black text to the post encounter/results text box isn't it.? The white text on white/green health bar is tough to read (same goes for the Mana bar). Granted health text gets easier to read the lower you go but health should be readable at all times.
I also prefered the old Stability bar rather than white text on a mostly white image where the text also covers the image that's supposed to represent your balance. Is there actually 9 Status effects you can have active in a fight? Cause if not it'd be nice to see one of those bubbles gone and replaced by a Stability bar. As well as possibly increasing the size of the text/bars so again they can be more legible and not compressed so much, they're practically half the size they used to be.

Another recommendation for the end of an encounter is to have an arrow, checkmark or something to point to the way the battle was ended. From what I could tell it was just the image slightly highlighted compared to the others.

Yea it requires you being defeated by a Goblin (Female) and then failing 4 endurance checks. Once she lays her eggs you'll need to be a bottom to one of the 3. Centaur/Harpy/Werewolf. Then wander around awhile and you'll get an "Encounter" screen, which will be the birth. I'd recommended just saving after the eggs then finding one of the three  and then reloading after each birth just to expedite the process.

Visit the brothel. Force (emphasis on force, fail the check if you need to) Daisy or Ivy to give you a deepthroat blowjob twice thus pissing off the Madame of the Brothel. Then visit the Town Square and eavesdrop sometime during the day.

You're not wrong. There's many scenes that are not in the Pervert menu that you can come across while in game. This is is a question for the devs to answer for sure. It'd also be nice if there were some hints to unlocking scenes like there are for "events" in the Progress menu. It's still a beta so we'll see what they do with it in the end. I ended up finding a Mega PDF to figure out how and where to unlock achievements for the bonus points in the following playthroughs.
