I really appreciate the in depth feedback about it! Shamelessly the only objective is to catch the 🦀. I wanted to create multiple catching mechanics as you progress the dungeon but wasn't able to get that far. Sometimes I dream too big and poof goes the week 😂

I think I'd like to spend a month on it to be honest and give it the love so the crabs can have more friends and I can add some music and other cool stuff :)!

lol i don't think it could be any truer ❤️ 👴 🦀 🥅

cool :)

Thanks! I really appreciate that :)

Hi! I'm interested in Jamming together C:

I haven't done the networking really for a multiplayer and don't think I could solo this jam ;C

I can do 2D or 3D art and/or do music.

W00T :D! ty

Thank you :D

I def want to revisit the bullet / fighting mechanism. Good point!

Great point! I originally had an indicator that showed your shooting direction but removed it later in the game because it was always stuck to the character, but having a raycast line drawn would be a nice touch

lol <3 I did it while testing and left it there xD
Thanks for your feedback and for checking the game out :)!

Was a really fun game. The challenge felt realistic and the pacing was great. I played for about 5 or so minutes but really was into it. Great job :)

Touch right of the ball or right arrow key to move left.* --> I think you meant to say move right

Really excellent design. The colors were great and the idea of the person being split in half felt really well executed. The mechanics were there and made me forget I was playing as 2 separate "characters". Great submission!

Really enjoyed the music and relaxation of the game. The controls felt a little rigid at times but the overall flow of the game was really relaxing and excellent.

I also loved the font and the music :)

I really enjoyed the game, it felt both challenging and rewarding. The pacing was pretty entertaining. Great work :)

It was a little confusing to get the game going at first, but was dedicated to solving these puzzles.

I think a little music in the background would help the game feel more atmospheric. Nice Job on your game!

haha I totally feel you. I've only once ever done 3D for a 48 hour game jam and I ate a lot of bologna samwiches and energy drinks to "fuel" myself to not sleep or sleep as little as possible haha xD

Thank You :D!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for your feedback :)!

These game jams are always really difficult to scope to be honest. I usually try to build out whatever feels like a core feature that has just enough play time (5 minutes) before tackling the art and then other aspects. I think it's always a fun challenge to work within the limitations because it pushes us to move rapidly and test us :D

https://clips.twitch.tv/PoorToughGoatStrawBeary I was playing the game on stream  yesterday a bit C:

Thanks Kingdomjack :)!

Thanks you!

I totally forgot screen shake D:

I would totally do that on a next update!

I want to revisit how the controls work. They feel like partially a chore. I find if you use the arrow keys and wasd it's more fun because you can kind of skip around.

Thank you for the feedback! I want to potentially add more enemy ai do it feels more challenging with how you engage with enemies with your bullet limitations

Thank you! It was fun to make and the first time I recorded live bass instead of using a program 👍🌅

I liked how simple and pretty everything looked. The music was seriously lovely and I could probably listen to it on the radio or on a playlist. Very kawaii!

I liked that you had the narrative as you progressed through the stage, it pushed you forward and fed you story about what you were doing and why you were doing it.

The sound effects in the one stage were suppppperrrr loud. My head hurt after hearing them to be honest. I turned them all the way down but I have sensitive ears and unfortunately had to mute the game till it was completed.

Nice submission!

Interesting concept with the 2 gun options. Would have loved to see some more text explaining what you were going for or what you could do in the game.

Honestly, as I shot the bullets I could kind of make outlines and draw stuff. It was a pretty interesting experience and keep on hustling!

I liked being able to have options wen dodging the stars. I think that a lot of games like this are just 1 big platform, so it felt a bit more challenging and gave me options as the player. After a while the yellow is a bit harsh on the eyes , so maybe if it wasn't such a vivid / bright shade.

Also thinking maybe as time goes on in the game the stars fall quicker.

The puzzles felt good. Wish I was able to move quicker :0

Man I was sooo triggered being tormented while I play haha. Definitely had me wanting to beat it to like "prove" the point I can do it. Nice game!

I really enjoyed the chill background music and the tentacles . They were cute how they wiggled. Scared me when I first saw them xD

I liked the concept of putting socks together to form a ball. I think we all do this a bit in real life, so it feels cute and relatable.

Also the art was super cute :)

I felt a bit like a spooky ghost spamming jump and rising to the ceiling xD

I just really really enjoyed this game. It felt like the right amount of challenging and excite. I didn't want to stop playing. I think that it is easy to have a good idea, but execution is everything and you guys really hit the nail on the head! My only constructive criticism is I wish the character speed was not so unforgiving. I was tapping my keyboards like my fingers were feathers.

Cool entry! I liked being able to mix potions and test them out to see what they were all about :) It would be cool if after I used a potion there was a UI that said something like "You've use Flame Potion". This way it is a bit easier to identify what the potion is doing. Sometimes the potions confused me as to  how they work.

Interesting concept. I honestly had a really tough time getting mediocre at controlling the ship. It is definitely challenging!

I honestly couldn't tell if I had a successful or failed landing because the UI response just would reset the level. Hard to determine if I had a good performance :c

I liked the concept of the 2$ bill tie in to the theme :) The story was cute and a nice T up to the game itself.

I wish there were multiple levels with different enemy pathing and a way to see how much HP you have total. With that being said, i loved the art and the music. I'm a big fan of tower defense as well :)
