The gameplay and animation feels very smooth and satisfying! I love the feel when you shoot and hit with bullets :). Unfortunately, I stopped on the second level because the spike dash puzzle was too frustrating too early :(
Thanks! About the difficulty , I didnt have anyone to playtest unfortunately and I made the levels in a rush without thinking too much so I kinda messed up
I do really love your artstyle. Gameplaywise its superpleasant, maybe besides dash and spikes. I like the take at theme aswell!

I really enjoyed the game, it felt both challenging and rewarding. The pacing was pretty entertaining. Great work :)
Great game! Pretty hard and fun. In the later levels I think theres need for some checkpoints.
I loved the music and the art style, also the dash feels really good.

I like playing your game, the sound, idea of graphic are amazing. Can I just ask, did you use any tutorial for the camera movement and particles for shooting? I'm asking because I'm a beginner as well (like I know kind of nothing) and I just want to learn something new. But your game is AMAZING :) (and challenging ;) )
Thank you so much! My script for the camera movement was pretty basic, I created a script for the camera with an array of positions and then used Vector3.Lerp to smoothly move it for one of the positions listed in the array.
As for the shooting particles, you just create some animations for the muzzle and hit effect and then instantiate the muzzle on the fire point and the hit effect when the bullet collides with something

It's kinda unoptimized but for just a game jam game its a time saver, also sorry for the Pastebin I don't have github yet xD

My only complaint would be that the difficulty seems needlessly difficult and at least one platforming section I found more tedious than "ooo this is hard but rewarding".
