5 days later, i am ashamed of the brackeys discord server for not being helpful in any way. actively working to make learning harder. I say i am trying to learn to make a level, they point out a 128 page book on how to improve. it's not a bad book by any means but i am overwhelmed and have no energy whatsoever to read through a resource that thick. (someone someone called me incompetent for saying), but I also actively saw the admins of the server warning people when they do actually point to a better resource. I will not be participating in a brackeys game jam for the forseeable future in protest.

I liked how the game made me feel like i was able to be a deviant. I was a little disappointed the game didn't scold me for ignoring the calls for a few minutes, or that i purposefully crashed my ships into the rocks. it just kinda kept along and going. I know i could have likely failed if i stopped pressing boop but doing that would be the most boring way to die. So i played in my very wierd way until i burnt out it was funny
This game is silly. it was a fun game for a few minutes. what pulled me out of the experience was the pooping and the fart sound effects. the character controller's animations seemed to turn way too slow, i often had to wait for the animation to fully turn to move in a direction and that confused me. I thought the puzzle design was kinda cool i liked it until i accidentallly softlocked myself by jumping off the side of some crates with no way to go back to the lever. I couldn't face the consequenses of going back to the button because i know i'll end up slipping off the crate again like last time. totally on me for that note.
this is a good job I like the gameplay :) this has a very interesting style mechanic and i personally don't like to read so i got softlocked until i read dialogue. I got possibly a little overhalf way and then died a few times i don't like having to restart from the beginning due to a mistake in the movement controls.
starting out, the fade in after "press space to start" took way too long to happen. it was like a full 2 minutes and i thought nothing happened. this is a fun idea i didn't realize my flashlight got brighter as i picked up nuclear waste. it would have helped to have a progress bar, or text of sorts to show radiation. I like how we can get around the evil hazmat things however, i felt like i couldn't avoid them and so i would just die. I also ran into a problem where my input got stuck and would send me into a pool of toxic waste.
This was a fun game. i liked it :) it was fun but it wasn't very painful to keep trying. i like the level rewind system and how it saves the position of the box over deaths it is a very useful mechanic. i died a hundred times playing the game and i don't regret it at all. I like the music it's very nice :)
Oh ok thank you for letting me know
this is good feedback for a system for visualizing soundpoints
i think it may be important to leave something on the ground to show the player whats going through the ais head
good thoughts for potentially another time or if you'll continue work after the jam a litl bit
This game is fun. it has good strategy potential. I like that each bacteria has it's own movement pattern. I did realize this design kinda forces you down a path, but the patterns made it interesting, it almost felt like i was playing a rythm game, but there's no features that emphasize the rythm of the movement. it's all in the controls, which do feel very nice when we move. Overall a very good game.
I saw this asset pack on the unity asset store yesturday. I almost downloaded it to help build my level for my game. I decided against it. I got confused about how to play the game and the webgl version has no way to exit mouse locked mode. I had to close my browser to gain control of my cursor. I did not make it very far in the story it felt very lonely and i couldn't figure out how to recieve messages.
I was confused the whole time. I didn't understand how to find bullets after i got my gun. It was wierd. why are there bullets in the garrage and the gun is in the bedroom? but, what made me stop playing was the inability to hurt the enemy, which teleports in and shoots me from random directions with no way to prevent them from hurting me.
It's a funny challenge. I had a hard time figuring out what to do or what is possible. i also struggled with seeing the ground it hid behind my taskbar. the camera jiggles way too much and i would reccomend figuring out how to get the mouse cursor's circle to show that it's possible to pick up the rock. Reguarding the music, the music is ok. the story is silly
