Even though the game is really simple it's actually quite satisfying to play, Well done

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately I’m not looking for people to Collab with / compose music since I’m not completely sure with the fate of the game right now. I appreciate the offer though and might contact you in the future as right now I’m mainly focused on other things like school.

(1 edit)

I'd just like to say I'll be rating anyone's game if they comment, I've already gotten through all the previous comments so anyone from now on will be getting a rating. This is the developer btw.

EDIT: I'd also appreciate if you play to give the game a rating and maybe leave a comment as I really enjoy receiving feedback from people.

Thank you! Quite a few people have given similar feedback about the fire book and I intend to change it mechanically in the final version.

Very interesting puzzle concept but to me even after reading the rules it felt as though the game was up to luck. Walking was also weirdly slow and I found myself constantly sprinting as there was no real reason to walk. However to complete this in 2 days is still impressive. Well done.

I like the concept of mixing 2D and 3D graphics however I feel it wasn't implemented properly here, the assets standalone look really good though. I also found it challenging to find all three fountains since I kept ending up in the same places, all the doors honestly added to the confusion, next time mabye ask for playtesters and see where they naturally end up, I think that's where the fountains should be to make the game feel natural and intuitive.

I understand your feedback about the fire book and lots of people feel the same, thanks for the feedback

Thanks, I've had multiple people say stuff about the colour of enemy projectiles and it is quite unclear. I look forward to playing your game

I'm planning to work on the game more and develop it into a finished version!

Looking back a progress bar would've been a quick and useful thing to implement as lots of players didn't realise there was an end to the game.

Thanks for the feedback, unfortuanately i didn't have time to add music / sound effects and i'm realising now that it would've made a difference.

I liked the concept and there was a nice moment of realisation at the end of the game when you realise what it was about. The time before attack on the sword felt a bit unresponsive and made it hard to dodge attacks. But otherwise a really good entry.

I like the graphics but I feel the controls are a bit hard to get a hang on, mabye all ammo could be unloaded in one click instead of having to individually unload them. The game seems too hard but a solid entry
