Hmm, I came back and tried again, but neither of the fullscreen options worked for me. If it works for other people, then my computer must just be weird.

I had that happen whenever I tapped 'a' while holding down 'w'. So maybe that's what you were seeing too.

I really want to try this one out, but for some reason, the custom cursor in the game isn't matching up with where my cursor actually is. Really fun idea though, and I hope to play it later if it starts working for me.

Really well made game, it just oozed polish and charm. Even the way the camera moved was satisfying.

Charming little game, well done! The platforming was fun and interesting, despite so little time to work on it.

My only gripe is that I didn't know how far you could fall before the door broke, so I died a lot trying things that I thought would work.

I agree with the other comments I see here, really cute game and a promising prototype. If you ever do revisit this game after the jam is over, I could see this being a lot of fun with a few more tasks to draw you to other parts of the house.

Also, I found it hilarious that the bath flooded like three times while one of the people was literally right there staring at it!

Charming style and a fun idea, but the train just kept running off into the sunset for me, so I couldn't do much.

First game this jam that I properly finished! Several were more like a high score thing, but yeah. I didn't notice that I could swap aliens at first, so I was confused that I kept dying despite dodging all the bullets, lol. Really fun game and surprisingly challenging despite having just one enemy shooting at you. Well done!

The art style is charming and the gameplay, while simple, is engaging. I probably would've kept playing a while longer if the play again button got me right back into the action.

It took me a while to figure out that I wasn't playing as the current, I was playing as the school of fish. By the time I'd figured that out and could actually control the game, I'd lost all but one.

So cool concept and good visuals, but I found the execution a bit confusing.

The jump in difficulty from lvl 1 to 2 was wild. I found lvl 3 a bit easier than 2 since there weren't as many obstacles to get stuck on. Cool game, and fun take on the roles reversed theme.

I did find the background quite rough to look at, but maybe that was just a visual bug that came up when I played.

This was a cool concept, but a few things held it back for me. The controls using arrow keys instead of wasd felt really strange and awkward, and the apex predator form felt less like an apex predator and more like just a chunkier character that would die to different things.

One thing I really liked though was the indicator in the top right, where the letters changed colors and direction as it got closer to swapping time.

Dude! This is phenomenal! My first time playing I didn't really grasp how this would work, but the gameplay loop is extremely satisfying and engaging! It was a perfectly short experience that I for one would love to see developed into something more.

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I had a hard time figuring out how to give the carrot places to shine, but we'll be doing exactly what you've said now that the game jam is over. I've actually already got two more levels added on my computer, and we have plans to add quite a bit more over time :)

Yeah, as soon as people started playing it I realized I should've implemented that differently, lol.

Thanks for playing it! Really enjoyed watching y'all play through it :)

Yep! I found that right-clicking to steady myself while I made my way across helped a ton too

Yeah! Grappling hook mechanics are always fun, but when I found a way to grab the fans from outside the easy path it opened up the whole map! If you wind up expanding the game once voting's over, I'll have to come explore some more :D

Yeah, after the jam is over we'll be building some more levels and giving carrot more places to shine. Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much Vimlark! It was awesome seeing you play it on stream! :D

Great game! Perhaps I'm the intended demographic because I didn't find it too hard at all, brilliant design and delightful style!

Yeah, definitely a skill I could use working on, lol. As satisfying as the dozens of bounces were to watch, I think it might be easier to design levels around a hookshot with fewer bounces. Just my two cents though :)

I was starting the jam with a buddy to work with but he came down sick a couple hours in, so I wound up with a bit more than I could handle on my own. Specifically, I'd had more levels, scrapped them on account of a bug and failed to get them back in once I figured out the problem. Ah well, lol.

And thanks for the response! It was my first time even really attempting to put out a game, so I'm pretty happy with what I was able to accomplish.

Ah, that's one of two things: the tomato doesn't really move unless you're in the air, or just a bug that I didn't manage to iron out in time :/

Honestly, I mostly just wish it had wasd controls. It's so unintuitive for me, using the arrow keys :|

Replayed it about five times because I just had to explore the whole map! Well done!

Great game, beautiful minimalist aesthetic. Felt like I deserved every one of my deaths, lol.

Very fun! Last level was a bit more finicky than interesting, but that's my only complaint

Loved it! Delightful puzzles and fun theme. Well done!

Took a bit to figure out that I was directly controlling the red one and what the objective is, but once I did, it was a cool little arcade challenge

Nice job! Fun little game, though the difficulty spikes pretty hard with the randomly moving NPCs that you can't even let see the magnet.

Just downloaded the demo and tried it out this morning, found that I couldn't eat at all unless my character started complaining about being starving. Even then I could only eat one food item and it went back to not letting me eat.
