Guys, you've done a bloody good job. This is a lovely game, the sort of game that inspires me to keep making games. Well done!

Really fun game, love the switch up in music and SFX when you grow. Should perhaps be a TAD more lenient with how precise you have to be to get the flies, only thing I'd change. Great work!

merry christmas mate, enjoy the post-jam update! :)

This is so cool! Well done on recreating a pretty accurate crash experience!

Thanks for your words of praise! I am the artist and definitely not the programmer/designer.

Hi! Thanks for your comment! We're really glad you enjoyed!

The building being stopped between waves was intentional. We are working on a post jam update and it may be something we reconsider once we get round to actually balancing the game a little more.

Thank you for the really lovely feedback, it is very much appreciated!

Definitely on the to do list, along with some much needed balancing! 😬

Thanks for playing! Yeah definitely needs some balancing, we had to sort of do it on the fly while developing so it's a shame that some of the extra content is kinda unaccessible atm haha

Such a simple but addictive game idea! Really fun!

Very cool game, I loved being able to control the speed as a feature!

Cool game! Probably could have done with a more powerful special move, didn't find much use for it personally.

Solid well made game! Unique concept!

Player cat looks badass!

Very cool, love the concept!

Very cute cat!

Took me a while to get that pun of pi-rats hahaha. Awesome trailer!

There is definitely an issue with the accuracy of the range of the tiles and some inconsistencies. Definitely going to rework the system for a post jam version.

It's definitely difficult too, we ended up having basically 0 time to do any kind of balance. Thanks for trying it out and sticking with it for so long though, greatly appreciated!

Winston wiped the floor with me! 10/10 would get thrashed by a dog again.

Very satisfying to play!

Brilliant, I had lots of fun selling bikes. I'm not too sure what others mean about some sort of surprise after the first day. The game seems like a normal retail experience to me.

Very funky music! Really enjoyed the synced shooting etc.

I enjoyed scaring the life out of the old crone! Very fun game experience, well done!

Ah, thats annoying. What browser are you using. It seems like it might not be able to load the intro cutscene. Try hitting space on the black screen if it doesn't load.

Thanks for trying our game! Great first score!

Cool idea, but yeah like others have said. No theme.

Cool menu idea to have it in the world.

So hard to control, but you're right. That tune slaps.

Definitely agree with Gyryk, lots of roblox vibes.

91 was my score.

Cool movement ideia!

Awesome game, felt very badass haha.

Frustrating for sure, but well made.

Very addictive game loop, nicely done.

Love the visuals!

Cool idea, agree with innarq that instead of having to click on a pole, you should tap a button and latch to the closest one.

<3 very kawaii

So cool how each body part gives a different ability.

Title: A Delightful Descent into 'Dig Deep'

Rating: ★★★★☆

'Dig Deep' is a captivating game jam creation that takes players on an underground adventure like no other. With its charming premise and unique art style, this indie gem manages to forge its own path, albeit with a few intriguing quirks.

From the moment I plunged into the depths of 'Dig Deep,' I was immediately struck by its distinctive character art. While some may perceive it as having an uncanny quality, I found it to be a fascinating departure from the usual visual aesthetics. The characters exhibit an intriguing blend of organic and mechanical features, hinting at a world that is as mysterious as it is imaginative. The art style, though somewhat unconventional, evokes a sense of curiosity and piques the player's interest.

As I navigated the intricate subterranean levels, I found myself completely engrossed in the game's mechanics. The controls were smooth and responsive, allowing for precise movements as I dug through layers of earth and stone. 'Dig Deep' expertly balances exploration and puzzle-solving, with each level presenting new challenges and cleverly designed obstacles. I enjoyed unearthing hidden treasures and uncovering secrets within the depths, further fueling my determination to delve deeper into this underground realm.

One aspect that truly intrigued me about 'Dig Deep' was its enigmatic narrative. The game cleverly weaves a subtle storyline into the gameplay, providing glimpses of a world on the brink of discovery. It skillfully piques your curiosity, leaving you yearning for more information about the world and its inhabitants. Though the character art may seem unusual, it strangely complements the enigmatic narrative, lending an air of mystery to the experience.

While 'Dig Deep' succeeds in many areas, it does have a few minor shortcomings. Occasionally, the procedural generation of the levels can result in repetitive patterns, diminishing some of the excitement that comes with each new descent.

Fun game, if only bug fixing was that fun!

Would have been cool to merge elements!
